I see a lot of reviews saying the author was tired of the characters, and I don't know if that's true. Maybe it is.

Regardlesa, this ending was very heavily foreshadowed, and has some hope in it, hard as it is.

And it was a decent ending. Better than many, worse than some.

I love Owen. I really like Atticus. G can disappear and never return so far as I am concerned. She just is not a compelling character. I want more Slomo. I want more of the children. And I want more Atticus, though I suspect I won't get that.

Overall, I am glad I read these.

Sound mixing was quite poor.

I get that this is an audio drama and not an audiobook. I have spent many hours listening to old radio audio dramas and they can be wonderful.

But this? At several points, all I could hear was a cacophony. During those times I should have been hearing dialogue with backgound noise/music. What I got, upsettingly frequently, was noise with dialogue that I couldn't understand in the background somewhere. That should not happen.

I love Skippy. I genuinely enjoyed the story. Mulgrew as Nagatha really fit to me and I loved hearing her cut loose. RC Bray, as always, was fantastic. In fact, each of the actors performances was wonderful with a couple of notable exceptions.

But what can a performer do when their performance is drowned out after they gave it?

I, sadly, can only recommend this with warnings attached.

I expected this to be good. I am not a huge fan if Mr Gaiman, but it was recommended in Audible and I had nothing else calling me, so I burned a credit on this.

I am very glad I did

Really enjoyed this book. The writing is not good. The editing is flawed. The story is somewhat generic but compellingly told and performed.

Author needs an editor. Fun, compelling story, though.

Performance was exciting and very well done.

Narrator's pacing was a bit off-putting and the editing left much to be desired, but I enjoyed it overall.

Good: stories.

Bad: production of the audiobook.

This female voice actor has a beautiful and precise voice, but I felt her acting evoked more "hash" than heart at times. Maybe just me, but I sometimes struggled to hear the stories during her segments.

The cuts between the actors felt sloppy at times early in the book.

The pronunciation is jarringly inconsistent particularly with Elantris audiobook.

Altogether I admit to disappointment in the presentation of some of these wonderful stories. An enexpected amount of errors coming from these audiobook professionals, whose prior productions I have spent many many hours listening to.
