Have to be honest, I was really looking forward to this book. Broody alpha, nerdy omega, age gap. All things I enjoy very much. And overall it was okay. My big issue was Oliver and his unwillingness to listen. He's turns out to be a very negative character, in my opinion, that it's hard for me to listen to him. His tyrants he goes on about different faults and actions of Sam.
Now, of course Sam, the Alpha, is no prize but he is trying to understand and grow throughout the story.
I did enjoy very much the base line of the story the case they shared. Finding the clues and solving the puzzle.
And the narrator to me did an amazing job, kept everything flowing.

Having not read any of this series I wasn't sure what I was getting into.
But I simple loved it.
This was a very slow build, which now a days you can't find anymore. And I really enjoyed. I liked how both guys had issues but neither one had to be picked up by the other, they both were doing okay by time they found re-found each other.
That the outside support system of friends and works really works with this story and I can wait to read each of those tales.

The narrator did an amazing job not just capturing each voice but getting the feeling involved. Hope we get to hear him again in the rest of the series.

I've not listen to or read book one and no issues with understanding this book

I think what I enjoyed most was that even though we were pregnant at the beginning of the story with another Alpha kid, that didn't define or upset the balance.
Yeah, it was brought up. But unlike other stories that have a ready pregnant character it didn't create this huge issue.

These two were just trying to find the footing during a difficult time, not having the best luck with love or relationship before.
Then we have a serial criminal in the mix. Not a great combo to start anything.
But it works.
And I really enjoyed it.
Not a huge fan of the narrator, but I've heard way worse. And it was not bad enough that I wouldn't listen to him again if the right book came along.

I've read, I think book two or three but not this one. so when I saw this up for audio I jumped. Such a good story about love friendship and not giving up.
I think what I enjoyed most was we just didn't focus on one story, the Alpha and Omega . But the friendship the family the why. it made for a very well rounded tale.

The narrator is new to me and I was very surprised how much I enjoyed him. A soft soothing voice which is what this story needed.

What I enjoyed most about this story was not only was the omega, Dex, older than most you read about he was well established in his life. And while he wants love and HEA it didn't and doesn't run his life.
Dex, after having a life changing event years before. He's now got some amazing friends, great business.
Life is good until a certain Alpha enters his life.

I loved hearing about all the lives involved in this story. Individual and how everyone mingled together. How everyone grew, developed and of course our HEA.

My first time with this narrator and he did a fine job.

This story starts exactly where the first ends.

Tristan is falling into his new role. Everyone is falling into line or drawing lines. Battle lines.

This author does an amazing about spinning words and telling tales so we fall into this world, forgetting about everything else.

I loved these books, and now having them read to me is just the best thing ever.

I can't wait for the rest.

This was a cute story about new beginnings, new friends, forgetting past lives. Cuba, a PR male, is trying to start a new life after dealing with less than perfect home life. Now all grown up he's ready.

The author did a wonderful job letting us walk with Cuba while he found himself.

I wasn't totally in love the Narrator, can't decide what it was exactly. But I couldn't fall into the story like I normally do.

I would have preferred to have read the book.

I have read and reread these books, so when I saw that Ms. Ander was releasing them on audio I was so exited. Her work just comes alive when read to you. (look up the other audio she has released)
(not that it doesn't when you read it, it's just a different level)

The down side first, We are left with a cliffy. Luckily, from what I understand the next will be out in a couple of weeks (end of Nov, '18)

Like all of this authors work, this is a complex and detailed tale. Deep in family, culture and history which she ties together seamlessly. But because of that you have to listen and absorb, it's not one that you can turn on and tune out.
These characters are so wonderful, the lives they weave together, you just want to be right with them throughout.

Matt Haynes, the narrator, is new to me, and when I first heard him a was unsure but after the first couple of lines I was so engrossed I forgot why I didn't like him at first. Maybe because I forgot that Tristan was a true southern gentleman?
But by the end of the first chapter I realized Matt was so prefect I simply couldn't think of anyone better, he embodied these people, made them come to life.
Just as Ms. Ander does by simple writing the stories down.
What a great team.

I need all the books, NOW!!
