The narrator was pretty dull and mostly monotone. There were a few mispronounced words as well. The story was predictable, but is good for an easy beach listen.

I made several attempts to finish listening to this book, but couldn't do it. The story line is dull and made even worse by the narrator. She was very monotonous and seemed bored with the story as well. Would return it if I could.

It was a slow beginning and I even stopped listening for a while. However, once I gave it a good chance, I couldn't stop listening. Fantastic story, but the narrator really made it come alive. She does a wonderful job with the wide range of people in the story. Worth a listen for any Kristin Hannah fan.

Great book; however the narrator was sub par. He did well reading the male parts but his Southern accent and female voice was awkward and emotionless.
