This series is about a fictional country fighting for it's independence. This is the third book in the series.
The main theme throughout the series is about Freedom.
There is a mention of domestic abuse in this one.

Reminds me of our US revolutionary war.

Narration is OK to listen to.

I enjoyed the whole series.

I was so saddened to hear of Katherine Kellgren's death. She was a fantastic narrator. I was looking forward to reading this book to continue the series.
I was a little leary to see how a new narrator would continue where Katherine left off.

I can now say Jasmine Blackborow was FANTASTIC! She picked right up and brought much loved characters back to life.

Thanks Rhys for another great book in this series!

I liked the story well enough but it was tough getting through it with this narrator. This is the second book I have read in this series. I won't be reading another one with this narrator.

Her character voices were OK but whether it was the editing or the narrator herself the in between narration was choppy and sounded like there was a breath after every word.
