It was very hard for me to get through this book. I am finishing this series because I don't like to leave a series incomplete.

Shirleen said that Darius would put up with the rock chicks' antics for about a second. I agree because Jet, Roxy and Ava's antics were over the top and exasperating.

After a temporary relief with Jules, the annoying factor is back (similar to that of Jet and Roxy). Ava has been in love with Luke since she was 8 years old and what does she do? Try any and every thing to run, not walk away, from him. Shirleen (who has been making these books bearable) said it right - why don't these girls just give in. I mean, she was in love with him forever!!!

I didn't get why she was so secretive with her plan to help Sissy - he works for a investigation firm. I didn't get why it was a big deal. Also, I didn't understand why Ava was arguing and lying about breaking into Sissy's house. I wasn't a good idea. As with the theme with this series, Ava was a know-it-all and stupidly believed she was right about everything and was completely wrong.

Lastly, I would like to note that the annoying "eeek's" from Jet's story are back.

"Vince" is a member of the Selected Sinners MC, an enforcer, and an administrator of justice. He is the real-life book boyfriend most women dream of. Handsome, tattooed, covered in muscles, and very alpha, he appears to be a dream come true. One thing most of his MC brothers do not realize about him is that he spends his nights reading romance novels, and has since he was a kid. He lives by a set of moral standards most men wouldn't even dream of attempting.

I loved that Vince was more of an outsider in the MC. You (kind of) got a break from the other guys in the series. It kept me from wondering if that really did happen that way in the other books (because the books in the series run concurrently).

Vince: I didn't think it was realistic that, in his line of business, he didn't have a cell phone. His moral standards are unrealistic and unforgiving; however, he is hot biker that loves to read so a girl can overlook some things,

Siena: Her patience and faith is refreshing. She knows what she wants and is willing to wait for it. Meeting Vince helps her really live her life and step outside of her romance novels.

Also liked that we get an ending for Jackson's story.

Juliet Lawler has got a score to settle against the drug dealers of Denver. Vance Crowe has made it his mission that Jules won’t get dead while dishing out vigilante justice. Jules doesn’t have time for romance; she’s too busy saving the world. She enlists Zip (the gunstore owner), Heavy (an ex-PI) and Frank (a mysterious recluse) to help. The Rock Chicks get involved to provide advice and guidance. The Hot Bunch adopt Jules as one of their own.

I loved the first book of this series! Indy was totally kick-ass and relatable.

Jet and Roxy, however, were very aggravating! They had no regard for their lives - it was super annoying. The constant walking away from good guys for stupid reasons was equally annoying.

I was close to not finishing the series - I couldn't endure anymore characters as exasperating as Jet and Roxy but I loved the "'Burg" series by Kristen and knew that she awesome.

Jules started being aggravating but she turned around. Unlike the previous two characters in this series, Jules can literally kick ass! But once she realized her life was in danger and that her loved ones would be hurt if something happened to her, she calmed down and actually wanted to protect herself.

I loved her romance with Vance. Her back and forth with him made sense because, (SPOILER ALERT) she was a virgin and inexperienced with relationships. She came around to coupledom quicker than Jet and Roxy.

For me, Jules breathed fresh life into this series. I hope Ava (protagonist in the next book of the series) can continue this on!

Alexandra Monzelle is a hard-fighting, heat-packing Seattle vice cop, and she's not much interested in being protected. Her short skirt and sex-kitten heels are tools to lure her suspects into talking about the deadly new drug hitting the streets. She can take care of herself and then some. Unfortunately, she can't seem to get that through to Kellach Dunne. Kellach is a fresh import from Dublin, and he's landed at the heart of a vicious motorcycle club that deals in guns, narcotics, and mayhem.

Any additional comments?

This book begins the "Realm Enforcers" series and set in "The Dark Protectors" world. It's a continuation that focuses mainly on the male witches. I LOVED the story - a good story is to be expected from Rebecca Zanetti.

Narration: I don't think it was necessary to change to narrator because, consistent with "The Dark Protectors" series, it is told from both the female and male perspective. However, I understand the change might be necessary. My one complaint - the narrator's pronunciation of certain names!!! I'm not certain which pronunciation is correct, but it should be consistent with the "The Dark Protectors."

For example, Karen White (narrator of "The Dark Protector" series) pronounces the King's name as "Dage" (rhymes with sage and as it's written). Brock Thompson pronounces it as "Daga" (rhymes with saga). Karen pronounces Karys as "cares." Brock says "caris." Karen pronounces Veis as "vice." Brock says "vay-is."

Again, the story is GOOD! But the mispronunciation is detracting.
