Oh no! Not abridged!
Would you listen to The House on the Strand again? Why?
Although House on the Strand is one of my absolute favorite books, I would not listen to this version again. Too many nuances lost in the abridgment,
What was one of the most memorable moments of The House on the Strand?
I found each of Dick's excursions to the 14th Century memorable - probably because I'm envious!
Have you listened to any of Michael Maloney’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I did have a rather extreme reaction - frustration that House on the Strand was abridged! In my excitement of finding House as an audio book, I didn't notice it was abridged until I started listening. :(
