I am a huge Mary Kay Andrews fan. This was one of her bests. I didn’t care for the Callahan series but this book kept me entertained throughout. Lots of interesting characters and twists and turns. Having been to Georgia’s coast and islands, it was easy to follow. The narrator did an outstanding job.

I just finished this fourth book and had already order the fifth. They are exquisitely written and performed. Easily on par with Downton Abby. They definitely should be made into a movie. I will be very sad for them to end as I have listened straight through.

Meet Ove. He's a curmudgeon - the kind of man who points at people he dislikes as if they were burglars caught outside his bedroom window. He has staunch principles, strict routines, and a short fuse. People call him "the bitter neighbor from hell". But behind the cranky exterior there is a story and a sadness.

This is a very intriguing story, very well written and dramatically read. So much more drama than if you just read the book. I liked everything about it and hated it have to end. I especially liked the explanations of what happened to the characters after the story ended.
