Blind dates? Online dating profiles? Been there, done that. Georgia Cummings has zero luck with dating, and the era of the Internet is not her friend. No matter how fast she runs, how many corners she turns, she can't find her way out of this weird, alternate universe where men think dick pics are a replacement for small talk and getting to know a girl. The other nannies in this city don't call him the Sexy One for nothing. My boss, the amazingly wonderful single father to the girl I take care of every day is ridiculously hot, like movie star levels with those arms, and those eyes, and that body. Not to mention the way he dotes on his little girl melts me all over. But what really makes my knees weak are the times when his gaze lingers on me. In secret. When no one else is around. I can't risk my job for a chance at something more, can I? But I don't know how to resist him much longer either.

Knight Sebring knows who he is, what he wants, and what he likes. And he gets it. But he never expected something as sweet as Anya Gage to wander into his bedroom during a party he did not expect to be having to borrow his phone. Knight tries to leave Anya to the life she deserves, with white picket fences and a man who watches football on Sundays - good, normal, and clean.

Welcome to Grace Valley, California - where blood runs thicker…ties are stronger…and love is all the more sweet. Visitors to the town often remark about the valley's peace and beauty - both of which are plentiful. Unlocked doors, front porches, pies cooling in the windows - this is country life at its finest. But visitors don't always see what lies at the heart of a community. Or just beyond.… June Hudson grew up in Grace Valley, the daughter of the town doctor. Leaving only to get her medical training, she returned home and followed in her father's footsteps.

Would you consider the audio edition of Deep in the Valley to be better than the print version?

I LOVE Therese Plummer's silky voice and mastery of different characters! When I read the seriesin print, I still imagine her reading.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Deep in the Valley?

Some ofthe scenes take my breath away! It's just a beautiful story!

What does Therese Plummer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

When I try to imagine that it is only she who is reading, I can't because the characters are so developed.

If you could take any character from Deep in the Valley out to dinner, who would it be and why?

June Hudson. I'm sure she has seen some amazing things!! How can she be so tough, and still so soft??

Any additional comments?

Beware...I started on this series a few weeks ago, and now I can't stop listening! I'm totally sucked in. I actually caught myself looking for a place to move that's just like Grace Valley or Virgin River. One caveat: Audible doesn't have the entire Grace Valley Series, so I had to use another provider, and I'm still waiting on the recording of the 3rd book. Anyway, I just skipped to the Virgin River Series, which is an amazing transition!

The Waverleys have always been a curious family, endowed with peculiar gifts that make them outsiders even in their hometown of Bascom, North Carolina. Even their garden has a reputation, famous for its feisty apple tree that bears prophetic fruit, and its edible flowers, imbued with special powers.

Generations of Waverleys tended this garden. Their history was in the soil. But so were their futures.

Together again in the house they grew up in, the Waverley sisters realize they must deal with their common legacy - if they are ever to feel at home in Bascom - or with each other.
