This book is too deep for the complete novice and does not have any depth for the armchair data scientist. Though I did not like the book, I went back to listen and try to think who I thought the correct audience is. I don’t think there is one.

Daemon is firmly in control, using an expanded network of real-world, dispossessed darknet operatives to tear apart civilization and rebuild it anew. Soon civil war breaks out in the American Midwest, in a brutal wave of violence that becomes known as the Corn Rebellion. Former detective Pete Sebeck, now the Daemon's most powerful - though reluctant - operative, must lead a small band of enlightened humans toward a populist movement designed to protect the new world order. But the private armies of global business are preparing to crush the Daemon once and for all.

The best cyber thriller I have read. The flip flopping of good and evil is amazing. It challenges your morals and ethics. Wow. I dare you to feel the same about Sobol at the beginning of Daemon and the end of Freedom(TM).

In this intriguing business novel, which illustrates state-of-the-art economic theory, Alex Rogo is a UniCo plant manager whose factory and marriage are failing. To revitalize the plant, he follows piecemeal advice from an elusive former college professor who teaches, for example, that reduction in the efficiency of some plant operations may make the entire operation more productive. Alex's attempts to find the path to profitability and to engage his employees in the struggle involve the listener; and thankfully the authors' economic models.

What a book. The idea of textbook flipped on its head and turned into a narrative. The ideas for the manufacturing plant I think are transferable to many other endeavors. When you ask the question - what is my goal here, and then go through the thought process outlined, amazing things happen. A great author, thinker and contributor to many businesses bottom line.

Expanding upon the witty and ironic dispatches for which she is known, Anna Kendrick's essays offer her one-of-a-kind commentary on the absurdities she's experienced on her way to and from the heart of pop culture.

YES! YES! YES! A great story, a great thought experiment, wonderful characters.

What other book might you compare We Are Legion (We Are Bob) to and why?

Off to Be the Wizard. That was another story of man in over his head.

Any additional comments?

Oh.My.Goodness. I got to the end of the book and was CRUSHED that the next one is not out yet. After I got to the end I was surprised to realize that there was no love story. 80s jokes and geek jokes were awesome.

To become a Dark Lord is no easy thing. The simple ambition to hold dominion over the world and bend all to your will sounds straightforward, but it's not. There are armies to raise, fortresses to build, heroes to defeat, and battles to be fought. After many spectacular failures, Evil decided to lend more than inspiration to these would-be tyrants. He wrote an easy-to-follow Dark Lord's Handbook. And yet the next Dark Lord that came along screwed up like all the others.
