Harrowing story of the sinking of the lucitainea. Disturbing insight into war games and the killing of hundreds of innocents by the British to push American involvement into WWII. Brilliant description of the Japanese submarine commander and the challenges of submarine navigation.

Wonderfully narrated tale of house spirits experiencing the comings and goings of various owners over the years. Spell binding, delightful interpretations of why things can get so difficult when initiating change in an old house. Favorite part was their placing a lost key in a coat pocket which had been searched before for the misplaced key!

I have absolutely loved listening to Anthony Doer's All the light We cannot See. The reader was superb. The cadence with which he read this beautifully written tale made me feel that I was listening to POETRY.
indeed, I often repeated episodes as I might fall asleep missing what was being read. In the repeat I would discover images that might have been lnitially lost. I found myself mesmerized by the language, even when the images revealed were horrific. By stories end I felt that I was saying goodbye to dear friends. For someone who has been restricted from reading on account of a severe head trauma, I loved hearing this beautifully written tale and looked forward to spending my time lost in the magic of its words.
