Imaginative but hard to follow in an audible.

I enjoyed parts of this book, it was very colorful and imaginative and totally different. But there were too many characters to follow. It was very long and only came together at the end, and then I still didn’t quite get the ending. I feel like I need to listen to it again.

Loved this book with so many facets; it was very entertaining. The narrator was amazing! Would listen to anything he narrates from here on out.

It was a bit long, but loved it anyways. I will miss the characters.

I thought this book was pretty good, but with very little excitement to keep the readers attention. I trudged thru it and then began to appreciate the good personification of inter-personal relationships. (About half way thru.)

Wasn’t crazy about the reader (which I believe was the author.) it was difficult to hear her individual characters.

Kept my Attention

Really great book. I want to hear it again. Super thrilling and educational even. I want to go diving in Bora Bora.

Disappointing for Philippa Gregory. The overall plot line was very Hans Christian Anderson like. I kept waiting for the real plot to arrive.

I usually really enjoy Ms Rice's novels but this has way too much hyperbole for my taste. The story line was very good but I believe it could have been told in 3 shorter books versus the 5 longer ones.
