As a cassandra sangue, or blood prophet, Meg Corbyn can see the future when her skin is cut - a gift that feels more like a curse. Meg's Controller keeps her enslaved so he can have full access to her visions. But when she escapes, the only safe place Meg can hide is at the Lakeside Courtyard - a business district operated by the Others. This is the first book in Ann Bishop's "The Others" series. I have read the whole series and loved all of the books but this one is my favorite. I like the both the environment and the characters. Read the whole series and you will fall in love with the characters and miss them when you read the last book.

Three years ago, Dare returned home to rural western Montana and opened a hunting business to rival Angie’s. Complicating matters is the fact that Dare has asked Angie out (not once but twice) and has given her a gift of butterflies in the process. Angie has no patience for butterflies. They only lead to foolish decisions. And now the infuriatingly handsome Iraq war vet has siphoned away Angie’s livelihood, forcing her to close up shop. Before Angie is to leave town, she organizes one last trip into the wilderness....

I like the way that Linda Howard makes her characters an interesting mixture of strong core values and the normal human insecurities. I also enjoyed all the first person perspectives of each character - including the bear. This is a good story with both action and slower times. I will read it again someday.

I would love to have a dust bunny. This story has great characters and I enjoy "seeing" characters from the previous books in this series. A fast, fun read.

What did you love best about Fifty Shades Freed?

Ths is the third book in the series. I cared about the two main charaters and wanted to find out what happened to them. That kept me reading. I did find that by the time I got to this book the sex scenes where not as entertaining or important to the story - they kind of got old -- but I still kept reading because I wanted to see that Christian and Ana "make it work".

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the two main charaters - I wanted them to grow together and have a happy ending.
