This was my first purchase of Shakespeare Appreciated. I bought it because we were planning to see Macbeth on stage and I wanted my family to have a good understanding of the story beforehand. I have since bought several other productions. These recordings have helped my high schoolers (and myself) as we dove into various works of Shakespeare. The commentary is insightful and well placed. We have listened to the recordings over and over, first with, then without the commentary. I only wish there were more productions to choose from

Macbeth is my favorite Shakespeare tragedy. This performance does not disappoint. “Audible 20 Review Sweepstakes Entry”.

The only reason I would have given this four stars, is because Twelfth Night isn't my favorite Shakespeare play. On the other hand, this group of narrators gets 5 stars!! This is the third book I have purchased in Shakespeare Appreciated. It won't be the last.

John Bunyan was a simple maker and mender of pots and pans who received very little education. In spite of that, he penned the most successful allegory ever written. Embark on a perilous journey with Christian, the lead character, from the City of Destruction to the luminous safe haven of the Celestial City. The journey will encourage you to "set your hope fully on the grace to be given you" amidst the obstacles of life.

I won't say much about the book, except it is still applicable to the Christian life today. The narrator is outstanding. She is easy to understand. I did not tire of listening to her.
