this book hits close to home for parents in an "over-parenting" part of the world and time of society.
great mix of thought-provoking topics and humor.

I felt this book had some good moments and sections, but too many cliches and times when the plot "jumped the shark" of feasibility. Not strong writing overall. I ran out of patience and stopped listening.

Guidall is one of the best narrators I've heard, especially for books by John Dunning or Tony Hillerman
