Love this series! Not just because TJ Kline is a brilliant wordsmith and I love his sense of humor and emotional depth but Michael Lesley is a brilliant performer. I can't even call it narration because he goes above and beyond and give not just one but countless character preformances.

I'm sorry I really wanted to like this as I love regency romance but for the first 10 minutes or so I had an ongoing argument with myself as to whether or not it was one of those text to talk things, the narrator is so robotic. Which makes it especially hard to get into a romance novel. The story was nice if not a little formulaic but sweet and I was willing to stay and listen for the outcome. Would have been better as a read.

Would you listen to My Name is Luka again? Why?

Absolutely I loved this one. It was, I felt, the most emotional and investing.

What was one of the most memorable moments of My Name is Luka?

I enjoyed the focus Luka had not on how bad his life was but his desire to get away. He didn't hold onto anger or self pity but hope

What about Tim Todd’s performance did you like?

I think he did a great job in giving emotional depth to the characters especially Luka

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Really the ultimate scene with Luka and his dad just tore me up, but I really think it was done very well.

What made the experience of listening to A Kind of Truth the most enjoyable?

I liked the single POV and continuous narration which you don't see that often anymore, the growing fad seems to be switching POV's which can get difficult to follow if not for a good narrator. I also really loves the depth and life each character is able to get across to keep you interested and rooting for them

What other book might you compare A Kind of Truth to and why?

Mmm Kind of similar to a few other musician stories I've read but it really does have it's own voice and story

Which character – as performed by Seth Clayton – was your favorite?

I enjoyed Rand I don't know if I really got connected with his portrayal of Will though

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I thoroughly enjoyed the story even if at times it seemed to slow down or maybe a tad formulaic. Would definitely relisten!

I really enjoyed this story for a short read (I generally stay away from novellas) this was a nice breakaway from the earlier GFY stories and included a fun mafiosa element.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Just Stay: More Than Friends, Book 4?

I really enjoyed the early relationship with the phone calls and flirting :D

What does Chris Chambers bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I enjoyed Chris' reading as I hadn't been all that thrilled with the other narrators to the series stories. I think he had a fun and sexy voice and was able to put life and vitality into the characters
