If 14-year-old Cassandra Reed makes it through her first day at Miss Castwell’s Institute for the Magical Instruction of Young Ladies without anyone discovering her secret, maybe, just maybe, she’ll let herself believe that she really does belong at Miss Castwell’s. Except Cassandra Reed’s real name is Sarah Smith and up until now, she lived her whole life in the Warren, serving a magical family, the Winters, as all non-magical “Snipes” are bound by magical Guardian law to do. That is, until one day, Sarah accidentally levitates Mrs. Winter’s favorite vase in the parlor....

Best one yet! I love the struggles that Jane goes through not only internally but externally. And beast is best hunter! Like we had any doubt. While there are many questions answered in this book and wraps up some loose ends, there are a ton more questions introduced in this book that are left unanswered, hopefully to be answered in future books. There are multiple plot twists that I did not see coming and added very nicely to the story. Faith has developed a character that is intimately relateable and Khristine brings the characters to life. Am I a bad person for wanting Leo to give Faith some blood so she can write faster? If I was a character in a book, I would want to be Jane Yellowrock!

Human laws do not apply in the territory controlled by the Others - vampires, shape-shifters, and paranormal beings even more deadly. And this is a fact that humans should never, ever forget.... After her divorce, Vicki DeVine took over a rustic resort near Lake Silence - in a human town that is not human controlled. Towns like Vicki's have no distance from the Others, the dominant predators that rule most of the land and all of the water throughout the world. And when a place has no boundaries, you never really know what's out there watching you.

Concerned that technology is about to chase mythological creatures out into the open (how long can Sasquatch stay hidden from Google maps?), the League for Interspecies Cooperation is sending Jillian to Louisiana on a fact-finding mission. While the League hopes to hold on to secrecy for a little bit longer, they're preparing for the worst in terms of human reactions. They need a plan, so they look to Mystic Bayou, a tiny town hidden in the swamp where humans and supernatural residents have been living in harmony for generations.

Molly is my favorite author. Her characters are easy to relate to, the story just sucks you in to the point where you can't put it down and Amanda Ronconi just rocks these books. In this book you get the perspective of both individuals which is why the two narrators. Took a little bit to get into it and of course the characters sound different between the two narrtors but it didn't take long to get into the way it went back and fourth. It was rather enjoyable by the end of the book. My only issue with this book is it's length! It needed to be three times as long :).

Delivering a rare book to a valued customer is definitely part of mild-mannered archivist Anna Whitfield's job description. You know what isn't? Protecting her precious cargo from midflight theft by the very pilot who is flying her to Half-Moon Hollow...while trying to appear as unappetizing as possible to the only other passenger, a vampire. Undead bookstore owner Jane Jameson could be waiting a very long time for her book. Possibly forever.
