He's sexy and confident, the kind of man every woman notices. You know, the one with the to-die-for body and panty-melting smirk. And then there's the way his designer suits drape over his broad shoulders and big...well, we've all heard the rumors, the ones that say he's up for any challenge. But I can't see him that way. He's my boss - technically one of the owners of the company where I work - and definitely not in my league. Men like him don't notice women like me, and they don't date them.

I am still swooning over this story. This is the ultimate hot boss romance. But this is so much more also. This is the story of career driven Kimbra and her oh so sexy boss Duncan. What starts out as a black mail sceme turns into so much more. Kimbra catches Duncan in the bathroom with another female employee. Normally Kimbra minds her own business but she is in HR and this was at the office. But also she needs to a plus one to her cousin's wedding. Duncan accepts the deal but only because he has been pinning for Kimbra for a few years. The wedding weekend turns out to be just what both were missing in their lives. I can't get enough of these characters. Kimbra is independent and a great female lead. I admire that she took from life what she wanted no matter what others thought. Duncan is the ultimate book boyfriend. I guarantee he will leave each reader swooning and blushing (talk about steamy scenes). But my favorite had to be grandma Helen. I was laughing so hard a few times there were tears in my eyes. Go read this story now and get ready to laugh, smile, fall in love and get lost in this fun romantic story. It's even better on audio book. These narrators really bring this story alive.

Right until he up and left to chase his dreams without so much as a simple goodbye. When he showed up out of the blue 10 years later, I should have known to steer clear. I should have rejected his offer to take me to my ex's wedding and told him he was crazy when he suggested we act like a couple to show my ex, it's true, I could do better than him.

Another masterpiece! I swear every book this author writes is my new favorite. I loved this audio book so much. Andi Arndt & Sebastian York were the perfect representations of these characters. This story of childhood sweethearts getting a second chance had me swooning so hard. I loved how strong Saylor was. She did something very brave. She put her happiness first. She suffered the consequences from not being the woman others wanted her to be but inside wasn't even close to. But that decision led her to her own true happiness. She never thought it would be from the man who broke her heart to pieces years before. Hayes is the perfect heart throb celebrity. But we know him as the perfect man for Saylor. I loved that over the years they never forgot each other. Their love is so strong and real. And I loved them standing up to those in the way of their happiness, besides themselves. This is a must read romance. I wish it was real. I want some grudge cupcakes!

The summer that Chase Stern entered my life, I was 17. The daughter of a legend, the Yankees were my family, their stadium my home, their dugout my workplace. My focus was on the game. Chase started out as a distraction. A distraction with sex appeal poured into every inch of his six-foot frame. A distraction who played like a god and partied like a devil. I tried to stay away. I couldn't. Then, the team started losing. Women started dying. And everything in my perfect world broke apart.

Baseball romance fans, this is the book for you. But it is also so much more than a sports romance. This is also a mystery. I guarantee you that you won't be able to figure it out before the author reveals the truth. As a baseball fan myself I loved Ty. She is spunky, independent, strong and the perfect proof that baseball isn't just for the men. And it's no surprise she falls for sexy baseball star Chase. There is more to him than a superstar who likes to party and breaks all the rules. He is just a man running from the pain of his past. Together they are electric! But when they meet life isn't ready for them to live happily ever after. Shoot years ahead. They are both in different phases of their lives but never forgot each other. This is a perfect second chance romance but it's anything but typical. Add in a murder mystery. Just when you think you figured out your feelings for all the characters in this book the author throws in some surprises and I believe your opinions will change just like mine did. I loved this book from beginning to end. I couldn't stop listening. I had to know what was going to happen next! At the end my heart was full but I felt a part of me missing because I had become so attached to these characters. I can't suggest this book enough. Readers will laugh out loud, fall in love, feel heart broken, feel outraged, and swoon over and over again

Sports romance fans, this is the book for you! As usual, K Bromberg does not dissapoint. This is the story of baseball star Easton and sports physical therapist Scout. Both come from fathers who are legacies. Both are trying to prove they are more than that. The connection between this is too is aparant right from the start. As much as they push and pull they can't deny it. And once they accept it the fireworks begin. Easton is a no strings attached playboy who is a major prankster and doesn't need an ego boost. Scout is a stubborn and independent woman proving her place in an environemnt dominated by men. They both have their own issues past and present to deal with. You will be sucked into their world right away. This book has all that I love a bad boy, a strong woman, baseball, love, compassion, steamy scenese, healing and so much suspense and surprise I had to gasp a few times out loud. And as this author loves to do she leaves you needing more. I can't start the next book fast enough.

My life was perfect - until a shocking tragedy pulled the rug out from underneath me. My children were left without a father. I was without a husband and a provider. Instead of wallowing in my grief, I buried myself in my work at Dovetail Enterprises. Landing the promotion as the CEO’s right hand was exactly what I needed. Getting saddled with Milo Huxley as an assistant is exactly the opposite. I can’t stand him. He’s arrogant, irresponsible, and out for my job. As if that’s not bad enough, he has to be devastatingly sexy, and have a posh English accent that makes me squirm on top of it all.

As if enough isn't on her plate in enters Milo into her life. She took his job when he went M.I.A. and he is now read to take it back. As Milo becomes her assistant as a punishment from his brother who owns the company the two start out not being able to stand each other. But soon they form a friendship and that friendship turns into more. Danielle ends up leaning on Milo in the toughest times and Milo feels love for the first time. Just as they are happy life happens and is trying to keep them apart. This is when they decide if they can fight the things they can't control or just give in and let each other go.
I felt for Danielle. Her husband was killed by a client. There was no real reason for his death. And as if grieving and dealing with being a single parent wasn't enough, she is also dealing with the trial of her husband's killer. That is so tough. My heart hurt for her. I was so happy she had her strong group of friends and Milo. I fell in love with his smart mouth and sexy British accent right away. This was a great book to listen to on audible. The narrators really made me feel this story. This was my first book by this author and I can't wait to read more of her titles. She is the master of real life romance.

I am so in love with this story! This is the story of rock star Jake McKallister and college accounting student Casey Caldwell. They meet at the wedding of Jakes's brother to Casey's friend. Casey isn't star struck by Jake. She treats him like a normal person and even plays a small ice breaker joke on him. They instantly have chemistry. They form a relationship and the adventure of their lives starts. From long distance phone calls to being on the tour together, they can't get enough of each other. But being so close has caused past demons to come out from Jake. He's not only famous for being a rock star but also a child victim to a serial killer. He escaped physically but not emotionally. Casey helps him. She doesn't pity him. She is real with him and is the woman he needed. Jake just has to not let his demons and walls he's built ruin this great thing.
Casey was my favorite character ever! She was real and straight to the point. She was strong and confident. I loved when she told Jake the things no one else would because he was a famous star. She didn't care. She treated him like a person and I loved that. Jake was an amazing character too. He was star but it really didn't go to his head. My heart broke for the things he was dealing with. I am so glad he met Casey. And she met him. What a beautiful story!

Nate Pearson is ridiculously handsome and wears the hell out of a suit and tie, but I’ve seen the parade of beautiful women leaving his apartment across the hall - a different one every time - and I want no part of it. When it comes to romance, I’m looking for something real, something that will last: the happily ever after. As a divorce attorney, he loves to tell me there’s no such thing. As a wedding planner, I choose to disagree.

They are totally opposites but share a love for Bond movies. Nate's world is turned upside down one night. A baby is left on his door step. His baby he didn't know about. Now his life is going not the direction he had planned. Emme is a good friend and is there to help him. Soon their bond changes from friendship to what could be love. But Nate fights it and Emme starts to think that maybe he is just another heart breaker to add to her list of bad decisions. They both have to decide what they truly want and need in their lives.

OMG This book! :clutches chest: L.J. Shen broke my heart and then put it back together again with this story. Alex is a famous musician whose life is spiraling out of control. He is fresh out of rehab and on a comeback tour. He cares about nothing except his fans and winning back his ex who cheating on him with his supposed best friend. Indigo is a quirky girl with blue hair and self made dresses. She is hired to be his babysitter pretty much. She has to make sure he doesn't do drugs or drink alcohol. She needs to money bad for her family. She figures three months on tour will be easy. She is wrong. Alex is set on getting rid of her at first. She isn't going to be hard to get rid of. They go toe to toe with each other. The hate turns into attraction and even something more. But truths are exposed, mistakes from the past were made and that love may not have a chance at surviving.
I loved these characters! Alex was a jerk but I couldn't help loving him. The things that came out of his mouth had me laughing out loud looking like a crazy person with my headphones in. Indigo is now one of my all time favorite characters. I felt I could relate to her. I loved that she didn't give into worshiping Alex like everyone did. And she did the one thing no one did, told him No. I was rooting for her happiness the whole time. And can we talk about the chemistry between these characters? So addicting and simply beautiful.
L.J. Shen is quickly a new favorite. The way she wrote this story had me in awe. Her description had me seeing it right in front of my eyes. Muffy Newton and Shane East were perfect picks for the voices. She kept surprising me at every turns. I had so many shocked moments. There were many things I didn't see coming. This book is a must read or listen. I can't express enough how highly I suggest it. It definitely deserves more than five stars.

I am having the hardest time expressing how much I loved this book! I was already hooked on the Colton and Rylee story. Zander was a favorite character of mine. My heart felt for him. Well now Zander is definitely my all time favorite character. He is all grown up now and a driver like Colton. The demons from his past catch up to him and he spirals out of control. He takes time to himself fixing up a family friend's house to sell. There is an issue. Getty, a woman running from a life that made her miserable, is there too until the renovations done. A little bit of miscommunication and a touch of fate. At first these two can't stand each other. They just want to be left alone and deal with their own issues. Then boundaries are broken and feelings are formed. They become what each other needs. The question is if they are willing to take the chance to overcome their own traumas and trust again.
Like I said, I love this book! Definitely my favorite in the series. Getty was an amazing character. She came from a life of privileged but she was a prisoner in it. Her strength was beautiful. Zander coming to rescue to show her that she was enough had me swooning. And her also showing him that he can overcome his feelings of pain from his past was so inspirational. I also loved that we did get some Colton and Rylee in this story. And it did make me fall more in love with their characters. This is the book that all Driven fans need to read! In my case I loved listening to it and getting lost in it. Hey PassionFlix, can we add this to movie list?
