Daniel Schroeder wants nothing more than to repair his father's broken memories, but it's been a long time since he's thought of himself as a memorysmith. Even though convincing Big Dan of their current reality is the most painful task Daniel faces every morning, somehow life manages to prevent him from finding a cure. He needs to keep their family business running. And he needs to moonlight at a competitor's shop to keep all his employees paid. What Daniel needs most is some breathing room, and Elijah Crowe is eager to provide it.

I really enjoyed the world Jordan built in this series. I loved Daniel and Elijah and I could really feel their chemistry. I don’t think there was too much sex in the books as I felt it was an integral part of the story. I felt Jordan did an admirable job blending the lives of neuro-typical people with an autistic person.
Seth Clayton is a great narrator. I’ve listened to him outside of this series and I’m sure I’ll listen to him again. I did listen to this series at the 1.25 speed, but I do that with several of my favorite narrators.

While forgetting your problems won't solve them, it does seem like it would make life a heck of a lot easier. Daniel thought so once. Now he knows better. He and Big Dan have always been close, which makes it all the more difficult to break the daily news: the last five years were nothing like his father remembers.

I’ve had this series for awhile and kept putting it off. It’s not normally a trope I’d go for. But the Psycop series is so fantastic, I finally tried this one. It’s just as awesome in it’s own way. I am now really looking forward to the rest of the series.

Why didn’t I pay attention to the other reviews?!? I enjoyed the story right up until the epilogue. I just don’t get why that ending had to be tacked on.
Mr. Canon did fine as a narrator. He did a good job at keeping individual voices distinct and managed to convey emotion and passion. I would listen to him again.

I am so happy to be transported back to the Belladonna Arms! These stories are full of laughter and heart. At times ridiculous and the next moment sweetly emotional. Barney and Ramon are perfect together and I’m so happy Ramon is getting his happy ever after.
Shawn Hertel did a fine job on the narration. I never had any difficulty determining which character was talking.
If you need something sweet and funny to escape into for awhile, listen to this series. An absolutely great escape.

Dr. Mikhail “Misha” Budnikov takes one look at fellow fencer Ryan O’Connor and instantly knows his type. The undisciplined hothead is all ego with no finesse and even less control. In short, Misha’s pet peeves personified. To put the arrogant kid in check, Misha challenges him to a sparring match, which he predictably wins. Not so predictably, Ryan asks him to be a mentor and show him how to fence. Startled by the moment of humility, Misha agrees. What begins as fencing lessons becomes something much hotter, and before they know it, Misha is giving Ryan an entirely different kind of education. Dominance, submission, pain, pleasure—at the hands of an older, experienced man, a whole new world is opening up for Ryan.

I loved the story and I really loved Misha and Ryan. It’s a great story and though it ends with a HEA, I would love to continue getting to know them better.
I’ve always liked Michael Ferraiuolo as a narrator and he did a good job with this. The characters voices were all very distinct and he gave Misha a really good Russian accent. My only complaint is that when Misha was “thinking “ his thoughts had no accent. At times, I couldn’t initially tell if a conversation was starting or if he was just in his own head. I’m probably the only one bothered by this. Maybe it’s my OCD. But I think Mischa’s thoughts should have had an accent too.

Kyle Vaughn had three goals in life: become a vet, find the man of his dreams, and start a family. He easily checked off the first item on the list when he took over his grandfather's veterinary practice. Too bad he wasn't as lucky in love. Chaz Hamilton took a leap of faith when he decided to pursue a career in writing, but one best seller didn't mean he could quit his day job. I love fantasy and this story brought a new world to light. As much as I love the occasional erotic love scene, I’m really glad this story wasn’t graphic in that sense. Instead, the lovely story carried the book.
Phillip Alces does his usual fantastic job of this performance as well. He is simply amazing!

A nice little mystery or two can go a long way to cure boredom. There was a little bit of humor and lots of feelings in this book.
Spoiler alert, the scene when Jimmy walked in the house and saw his mom sitting at the table with a glass of beer pretty much gutted me.
This just may be a series worth sinking my teeth into.
Though there might eventually be a romance in this series, that isn’t clear yet. Jimmy seems to be hopeful about something starting with a guy he had a couple of hookups with, but he also has an attraction to a different man.
Yes indeed, I think I’ll have to see where this goes.
As far as the narration goes, I do have my obsessions, so I typed Joel Leslie into the search box instead of an author or title. I know I’ll never be disappointed with anything he narrates.

I enjoyed the story, but in order to get through the audio version, I had to speed it up to 1.5. The narrator has a very annoying voice. My advice is to read the story and skip the narration.
If this turns out to be a series, I’d continue with subsequent books to read, but there would have to be a different narrator for me to get the audio.
