Ms. Sharelle,
How about a re-write? Premise of a single biker dad and a swearing toddler is interesting. But the rest? How about problems with her mouth and the need for someone from the outside to teach her manners? The need to prepare her for life outside the compound? You would need a REALLY interesting reason that her dance teacher would take this on....a family member with a tie to the child's mother? A reluctant pairing of the biker and the dancer in a common cause that SLOWLY develops into something more? Just some thoughts... You've got some unique, interesting ideas but they need work.

Why the big secret? Wouldn't this story have been more interesting if she had been upfront? Said her boss really really wants this guy at her firm? Probably would make her partner if he decided to switch firms? It could have been something they talked about.... her lack of honesty and integrity made the main character too sleazy for my taste. Trying for the stereotypical attorney slant? Couldn't finish it....

What did you love best about Cheater?

I was about ready to give up on audible. I haven't finished the last 5-6 books I've bought. But this was truly fun. Loved the characters.

What would have made A Tempting Friendship better?

I wish the promo had let me know that their relationship was built on a history of cheating. The premise doesn't ring true. Why would two people who were willing to cheat when her boyfriend/ husband was alive not immediately go for it when he dies? Guilt? Really? Couldn't get past the first 20 minutes.

Fun escapism. Reminiscent of Davidson's Undead series- before she lost it and went all dark on us. Would I buy the next one? Haven't decided....

If you are looking for a sweet, imaginative, fun story, give it a try. I don't consider myself a prude, but a lot of the books I've listened to lately have had more sex scenes than story development. This was romantic without being graphic. Nice.

Well written. But the ending was really drawn out.... too much angst for me.

This story needs more character development. Less angst. Too many meaningless sex scenes.... I need witty, interesting dialogue.

I listen to books to escape. I'm always looking for a book that's fun- interesting characters, witty banter. I wish there was a warning label that let you know that a book was going to delve into serious illness/ death. Didn't finish it. Too painful...
