What a great audio play, very clever idea! Incredibly well written story, relatable characters (even considering their “jobs”) sharing a great message. Terrific performances all around, will listen again and tell family and my friends to also listen!

The reader has the BEST voices and accents! She makes the story come alive and keeps you interested in all the important details that the author interjects. So well written, love the idea of a female “detective” and that her partner respects and relies on her talents to help solve mysteries!
Note for history buffs to release worrying about some of the specifics on dates and such in this playful work of fiction!

Ben Ripley is a middle schooler whose school is not exactly average - he's spent the last year training to be a top-level spy and dodging all sorts of associated danger. So now that summer's finally here, Ben's ready to have some fun and relax. Except that's not going to happen, because a spy-in-training's work is never done.

The world of fitness apparel isn't ready for Beverly Lewis. She hates the gym, is nice to everybody, and shops at Ross Dress for Less. When she's not teaching preschool, she's wearing yoga pants...to nap in. So when she inherits her estranged grandfather's fitnesswear company in San Francisco, nobody expects her to keep it. The story was cute and I liked the main characters yet there was a lot of explicit sex, and yes it was relevant in some places for the story, yet the word choices were too harsh for my taste. An intimate scene can be presented with a less offensive language. The reader was great!

Worse still, her seatmate never returned to the plane after the L.A. layover. Now he’s dead, in a garbage can, waiting for curbside pickup. His killer could be anyone. And a ragtag collection of thugs and psychos, not to mention the FBI, are all looking for a photograph the dead man was supposed to be carrying.

Another fun story by Evanovich read perfectly by Lorrlei King. By now so familiar with the characters that her voices are so fun! you can just escape and listen to the hysterical adventures of Stephanie and her many side kicks especially funny Lulu. The formula works to keep your interest without revealing the conclusion! You know (or hope) all will eventually work out and Stephanie will get the bad guys (or Moralie or Ranger) and that keeps it low key enough while still realistic of a tale!
Thanks!
