This story was so good. I love that as the storyline develops, the reader is exposed to other characters, & couples from previous Texas Heroes books. Also, new characters are introduced. Once again, Jean Brashear has transported her readers to Sweetgrass Springs and unites Jackson and Veronica, and the three children. There is romance and sadness, lies of omission and truths, and heartaches and happiness. Both family and township are brought together in celebration of a holiday and wedding.

I have enjoyed this series on audible. They. are well written and fun to read. Penny has come to Sweetgrass needing a break from her high powered professional attorney lifestyle as well as a break from her personal life. Bridger has come to Sweetgrass to heal after being injured in a fire. These two are more opposite than alike, but they say, “opposites attract”, don’t they? You’ll have to get your own copy of this audible to enjoy their story. It’s a good one. And of course, Eric G. Dove is is one of the best narrators I’ve had the pleasure to hear.

I love all of the Texas Heroes books so far. Each one exceeds my expectations. Jean Brashear writes them so beautifully. There are excellent character descriptions who go through so much emotion. There are secrets revealed, sorrow, regret, ecstasy, and happiness. I really enjoyed the plot and how the main characters evolved. I also love that the other people in the story were from previous Texas Heroes books that I enjoyed. I look forward to the next audio book in this series. The narrator is great; it’s so easy to listen to him.

I can listen to narrator, Eric G. Dove, and be transported right into the story. He brings to life, the characters in Texas Wild so effortlessly. I love how writer, Jean Brashear, brings new characters and entwines them with those from previous Texas Heroes books. I get fully invested in the new story so easily. I can feel the roller coaster of emotions and visualize their surroundings. Mackay has returned to Sweetgrass Springs. He doesn’t really have a home to go to. He did spend 6 years growing up in Sweetgrass Springs. Mackay was a Seal and currently he’s recovering from an injury from his duties as a Hollywood stuntman. Rissa is his best friends’ “little sister”, now all grown up! Rissa had a crush on him when she was a young girl, of course, Mackay never knew it. Will sparks fly between the two of them? Rissa is always quite busy working on the farm, and her father is quite a miserable man. Mackay wants her, but doesn’t plan to get involved. He can’t wait to return to Hollywood and resume his career. Both Mackay and Rissa are quite stubborn and don’t want to become “involved”. What will happen? Is there a future for them?

This Texas Heroes Book is part of the Gallagher's of Morning Star. This is the story of private Investigator, Devlin Marlowe and the wealthy socialite, Lacey DeMille.
I just love the voice of narrator, Eric G. Dove. He is excellent and so easy to listen to. The characters come to life and are written with such depth. There are heartaches, and secrets, and lies, and sadness. But there are also sparks, second chances, love, and sheer happiness.
