Maggie's mind is reeling when she discovers the guy she became tangled up with at Marv's Bait & Tackle isn't a stranger like she thought. The big snag: Sam and Maggie's chemistry is hot enough to melt ice, which makes keeping their secret far more difficult than either expected. Especially when one of them decides they want this arrangement to be more than just a catch and release.

When romance novelist Kate Smith suddenly gets writer's block as she's beginning the final installment of her international best-selling erotic Bed 'n Breakfast series, she'll do pretty much anything to get her groove back. Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee - smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot. She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees-only entrance. But she's way too intriguing to blow the whistle on.

Although historical novels are not normally a genre I read/listen too, I went in with an open mind. Both the author Golden Angel and narrator Brian Briar were knew to me.

Cordelia is a sweet, submissive woman, lost and alone after the death of her husband. When Phillip asks her to marry him, she truly has no idea what she is getting into and the life that she would lead.
I liked Phillips and could certainly see him swooping in to save Cordelia. Although Cordelia frustrated me at times and I was annoyed by the behaviour of Gabrielle, a spoilt brat who really needed to be taken in hand.

This was a fairly spicy book to listen to and there were certainly some extremely hot scenes. There are some elements of BDSM and Phillip was definitively an alpha male.

The secondary character of Felix was great and I am more than intrigued by him. All in all, a well narrated book that was certainly steamy.

Full disclosure: Before we move forward with this email, I would like it to be known that I have consumed an adequate amount of alcoholic beverages to intoxicate myself tonight. Three margaritas, two shots, and one beer - because it was free. I think it's important to be open and honest with your coworkers, don't you? So here I am, being open and honest. Drunk but honest. Or just drunk with lust? You decide. I have a hopeless, foolish, schoolgirl crush on you when you are the last person on earth I should be falling for. Did you know people around the office call you a sadist?

Sara Ney and Meghan Quinn had me from the first to the last chapter; a great book and one I loved.
Having read both Sara Ney and Meghan Quinn individually and loved their writing I just knew that together they would produce something amazing and they most certainly did.
An office romance, but oh what a romance. I laughed so much I was in danger of passing out; I was totally invested from the start.
This is a great example of romantic comedy and the slow burn was so worth it as when it came to a climax, oh boy! Rome was totally swoon worthy and had me sighing on numerous occasions and Peyton, well I just loved them both.
Put simply it made me smile and happy and generally feel good.
Having read the book, I couldn't wait for the audio. Whilst I really enjoyed it and the narration was great I was a tad let down when the male narrator voiced the female part in the chapters and vice a versa..

Both the author Liz Talley and narrator Brittany Pressley were new to me. This is a second chance at love story and was an emotional roller coaster of a listen for me as it brought back some very painful memories.
Sunny has returned to Morning Glory Mississippi, a place she swore she would never return to with her life in shambles.
Henry Delmar made a dreadful mistake years ago and cheated on Sunny. She is the one who got away and when she returns to Morning Glory he wants to take the opportunity to make amends and get her forgiveness. I’ll be honest, I don’t like cheaters and even though it happened when they were young, and he said it was while they were on a “break”, it really annoyed me.
Sunny has built so many walls around herself and it is obvious that she is in pain, as well as exceedingly angry with life.
I will say that Henry redeemed himself somewhat as the story progressed . This was a good book but certainly needed trigger warnings in my opinion.

This was a new author to me, as was the narrator Roberto Scarlato.

This was a slow burn story but when it exploded, it became hot and heavy.Marcie is a single mum who was used by her slug of an ex to get him through school. Once he got what he wanted, he dumped her and now she struggles to make ends meet all the while trying to raise their daughter; I really wanted Marcy to get her revenge on her horrible ex.

The attraction between Marcy and Mike is so to build and yet it suited these characters.
I admired how patient and caring Mike was and I really loved how the author portrayed Marcy as strong, yet vulnerable.

I am not sure where to start with this review, This was a listening experience that is difficult to explain. Honestly, you need to listen to this one and form your own opinions. Suffice it to say I have never listened to a book performed like this before. It was a magical experience listening to such a vastly talented group of narrators.
At the heart of Birthday Suit is a poignant story about love, regret, forgiveness, laughter and friendship.
Leo and Lulu have been friends for 10 years. She is the one who got away and married his best friend. Lulu has no idea that Leo has been in love with her since they first met and when she eventually finds out is absolutely blown away by the revelation.
This story was at times highly emotional as the past kept coming back to haunt the present, however it totally got to me and I was blown away.
I loved the extras at the end and do hope that there are more books about this fantastic group of friends and co workers being planned by Lauren Blakely?

The narration from John Lane and Maxine Mitchell was spot on. Totally brilliant.

If you need a computer hacked or anything electronic then Reid Matthews is your go to man. A man who has been disillusioned and hurt by life, that is until Aiden took a chance on him and offered him a job. Now he has finally found his place and a family; something he always longed for.

He has always been labeled a loser, no one ever wanted him until the men of BAM and their extended family welcomed him in. My heart just about broke for Reid at times for the geeky young man who needed and deserved love.

Working with Bentley, Aiden, Maddox and Sandy, Reid found what he had never had before, a future, love, acceptance and a family who whilst not related by blood is still family.

Becca is the perfect heroine for the awkward Reid. She is strong, confident and determined; she also has a wicked sense of humour and I loved how she related to Reid and the other characters.

Reid made me laugh, swoon and cry. Melanie Moreland always takes us on a wonderful adventure and this book is no exception. The camaraderie and love that the BAM family have for each other is truly heart warming. I fell more for Sandy than ever before whilst reading Reid, she has been such a steady an loving influence on all of the men and is a wonderful character.
