If you are a fan of Dracula then STAY AWAY! The promising quirky yet dark title and "American Gothic" cover art held much promise for me. I am so frustrated and dissapointed by these books. They are so potentially good but filled with nonsense about sex. I wish I could forget what I have read. I did not finish this series. They don't dig deep. Superficial, dull, un-intelligent, vulgar.

The Time Twister is my favorite of the Charlie Bone books. I love them all. This book had a great impact on me. So much of coming of age in Hollywood is about loss of innocence. This story says to me that innocence has great beauty and power. The Harry Potter books get me through until the next Charlie Bone book is released.
