Meet Ove. He's a curmudgeon - the kind of man who points at people he dislikes as if they were burglars caught outside his bedroom window. He has staunch principles, strict routines, and a short fuse. People call him "the bitter neighbor from hell". But behind the cranky exterior there is a story and a sadness.

I absolutely love this book from beginning to end it was never a dull. I laughed and I cried. Ove is an interesting man. I didn't realize the book doesn't take place in America when they use the word kroner. Definitely give this one a try and I see that they made a movie or making a movie so that's awesome. The reader and performance of the reading of the book is outstanding!!!! The narrator really captures Ove character.

This book was heart wrenching as are most of Sparks' books. I have never wanted to heave myself into the story line to give the characters my thoughts so badly as I did with this book. It was a great audiobook as well very enjoyable.
