One morning, after a perfectly ordinary party, Tana wakes up surrounded by corpses. The only other survivors of this massacre are her exasperatingly endearing ex-boyfriend, infected and on the edge, and a mysterious boy burdened with a terrible secret. Shaken and determined, Tana enters a race against the clock to save the three of them the only way she knows how: by going straight to the wicked, opulent heart of Coldtown itself. The Coldest Girl in Coldtown is a wholly original story of rage and revenge, of guilt and horror, and of love and loathing from best-selling and acclaimed author Holly Black.

really cool book reminded me of the an old Anne Rice book, without the the over don adjectives, lengthy descriptions of table settings and over the top sex.

Nice story good twrist and great characters.

Now if they didn't add music to parts of the narration it would have been much better!

I will be honest, I don't like Tahara in this book. She is is so brash, cocky yet whiny. She evolves over time as all characters in Trevor's books do.

This being the second time I have listened to this particular book, I enjoyed it much more knowing what is to come. Who people become in those books, makes it much more palatable.

Don't get me wrong this is a cool book, just probably #14 on my favorite books from Trevor (yep he has put out 14 books as a whole).

Knowledge is power. That would be the motto of Lander University, had it not been snatched up and used to death by others long before the school was founded. For while Lander offers a full range of courses to nearly all students, it also offers a small number of specialty classes to a very select few. Lander is home to the Hero Certification Program, a curriculum designed to develop students with superhuman capabilities, commonly known as Supers, into official Heroes.

Alas, I was mistaken, this is a fun enteraining story but it is far from one sided....

I change each of you to not relate to our awkward heros and feel for the love, heart ache and general growth of the characters.

I was planning on using this to kill some time and take up my sizable commute. Nope this has taken my life over, I am unable to turn it off! Binge listening all day and night!

I picked up this series to kill a little time.

I am now hopelessly addicted to it and saddened to know there is an end to this glorious tale.

There is a character(s) for everyone to identify with in this book. We have all been in these situations and felt the insecurity that these characters have been though.

I am unable to get anything done, I have to find out what becomes of these characters that feel like friends and family to me.

So, in closing "F" Drew Hayes.... I had a life before starting these books!!!!!
