An interesting mystery and Lawyer book. The narrator was very theatrical and added to the enjoyment of the book. Lots of various characters and voices from her rendition. I was captivated by the story until near the end when it got overly melodramatic and touchy-feely. I started to think of this as more of a "chick book". Admittedly, I am a diehard Connelly fan and found similarities in Scottoline's style of writing until the last third of the book when it became clear that this surely wasn't Connelly. Her "Mary" book was much better in my opinion.
