This book was a welcome surprise, I am surprised often only not in a good way, in any case, this book was Like a breath of fresh air and I love the pace it starts out fast and gets to Warp speed by the end.

Don’t be thrown by the likeness of Buckaroo Banzai like I was at the start of the book, it’s a great book for a drive or to just sit back and listen to it happen.

Warning it’s a bit, - Violent, Funny, And There is Some Crusty Language, to say the least, There are Flashbacks too : )

In 1,200 words or less, these authors explore every which way you can "get it on", including threesomes, sex toys, public sex, BDSM, fetishes, and much more. Get "Anal-yzed", learn "The Advantage of Working from Home", and spy some risqué "Vacation Pictures". This is the story of an aunt and her virgin niece trying to walk to the nearest town when their car breaks down, and how they interact with a sheriff and his deputies as they slowly creep up behind them on a lonely road in the middle of nowhere. For certain, the two women's lives will be forever changed and a few weeks later they learn about some additional news that is totally unexpected, and which only adds to both the joy and uncertainly in both their households.

When Carrie Fisher recently discovered the journals she kept during the filming of the first Star Wars movie, she was astonished to see what they had preserved—plaintive love poems, unbridled musings with youthful naiveté, and a vulnerability that she barely recognized. Today, her fame as an author, actress, and pop-culture icon is indisputable, but in 1977, Carrie Fisher was just a teenager with an all-consuming crush on her costar, Harrison Ford.

This is a very good book, letting you in on some of the behind the screen intimacy and feelings of the cast.

At least for me, it was surprising to hear some of the details of what went on.

The book gave me a little insight into the behind the scenes making of the first of the Star Wars movie.

I actually laughed out loud while listening to it and that is a very rare thing for me.

I enjoyed the book very much, so worth a credit.

The most fatal virus known to science, rabies kills nearly 100 percent of its victims once the infection takes root in the brain. From Greek myths to zombie flicks, from the laboratory heroics of Louis Pasteur to the contemporary search for a lifesaving treatment, Rabid is a fresh, fascinating, and often wildly entertaining look at one of mankind’s oldest and most fearsome foes.

The grid is an accident of history and of culture, in no way intrinsic to how we produce, deliver and consume electrical power. Yet this is the system the United States ended up with, a jerry-built structure now so rickety and near collapse that a strong wind or a hot day can bring it to a grinding halt. The grid is now under threat from a new source: renewable and variable energy, which puts stress on its logics as much as its components.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Grid to be better than the print version?

I dont have the printed version.however I prefer audiobooks.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Grid?

When I found out with a digital meter the power company can tell what television show your watching.

What about Emily Caudwell’s performance did you like?

Excellent

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

This book is more of a history of how the power companies grew into what they are today and how they're dealing with what's expected of them now and how it differs from past expectations.

Any additional comments?

This is a very good book, I have listen to it twice, it's interesting all the way through no dead spots it's loaded with information about the history and building of the Grid, It is truly an all around good read.
I think anyone who is interested in the subject and would like to know more would enjoy the book.

Daniel Pecan Cambridge, 30, 35, 38 or 27, depending on how he feels that day, is a young man whose life is rich and full, provided he never leaves his Santa Monica apartment. After all, outside there are 8-inch-high curbs and there's always the horrible chance he might see a gas station attendant wearing a blue hat. So, except for the occasional trip to the Rite Aid to admire the California girl Zandy and to buy earplugs because they're on sale, he stays home a lot. And good thing, too.

Lisey Debusher Landon lost her husband, Scott, two years ago, after a 25-year marriage of the most profound and sometimes frightening intimacy. Scott was an award-winning, best-selling novelist, and a very complicated man. Early in their relationship, before they married, Lisey had to learn from him about books and blood and "bools". Later, she understood that there was a place Scott went, a place that both terrified and healed him, could eat him alive, or give him the ideas he needed in order to live.
