The first night I met Gillian Taylor, she claimed she was a pilot. Then she claimed she worked for a "private airline." I knew right then and there that she was lying to me, and that sexy as hell or not, she was the type of woman I needed to avoid. Still, after a pleasurable one-night stand, I was certain we'd never see each other again. Until I saw her in an airport a few weeks later.... Until I realized that we were both assigned to work the same flight. She was the flight attendant. I was the pilot.

Both Jake and Gillian have a lot of baggage that is not revealed until more than 50% of the book. The first part of the book is about sex....lots and lots of sex. I liked the second half of the book more than the first. Once the baggage is revealed Jake and Gillian are very sympathetic characters who are very easy to root for an HEA. The performance of Erin Mallon and Joe Arden bring the characters to life and made the story more interesting.

The first time I met Caine West was in a bar. He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out. When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight -- telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass. You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend-smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married. He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he'd done.

I really liked this story and the characters. It took the entire book to find out why Natalie is so afraid of having sex with Flynn. It would have made her a much more sympathetic character if there was a prologue. Also, there is an over abundance of the "F" word in the story. It is an offensive word and could have been used less.

It was a typical evening at a mall outside Portland, Maine. Three teenage friends waited for the movie to start. A boy flirted with the girl selling sunglasses. Then the shooters arrived. The chaos and carnage lasted only eight minutes before the killers were taken down. But one person wasn't satisfied with the shockingly high death toll at the DownEast Mall. And as the survivors slowly heal, find shelter, and rebuild, they will discover that another conspirator is lying in wait - and this time, there might be nowhere safe to hide.

I love the story line in this book. Kyle returns home to win back his not-so ex-wife and to find his writing muse again. He is going to write the love story between him and Ophelia from the beginning when they were teenagers in love. I particularly like how Kyle reflects on the events that led up to Ophelia returning home to run the family B&B and realizes the mistakes that were made. I like this series from Jennifer Probst and can't wait until Harper's story is released.
