happened in the world from the 1950s to almost present day. One of those books that you just wish would never end......

She spends her day drinking wine (maybe too much), watching old movies, recalling happier times...and spying on her neighbors. Then the Russells move into the house across the way: a father, mother, their teenaged son. The perfect family. But when Anna, gazing out her window one night, sees something she shouldn't, her world begins to crumble. And its shocking secrets are laid bare.

This book was a roller coaster ride from beginning to end. It was a "psychological thriller with humor on the side". I was stunned to learn that it was the author's first book, but when I read the author's bio, I understood how he could put together a book of this caliber.

Can't wait for his next book.

Not much substance.

ALL FALL DOWN is about a mom who thinks she can do it all, with a very annoying, spoiled rotten daughter, a husband is who completely self-absorbed, and family secrets.
Put this all together and you have the perfect storm.

I am amused by readers who did not like the more serious tone that this book takes.
Weiner still writes with her witty, sometimes smart-ass style. But the topic is
life and death and important to bring to the surface. Maybe those readers who
can't read the book find it hits too close to home.

the fact that the main character was completely unrealistic. There is NO WAY the
FBI or any law enforcement agency would allow one of their own to investigate a crime
involving their own family member. The unprofessional handling of the cases from the beginning by this character and her FBI colleagues, continue throughout the book.
I finished the book and the end was predictable. I was so annoyed with her by the end of the book I was hoping she would die.
