Madisyn Drake is a rare breed of cat shifter…a loner, unpredictably wild, and emotionally distant. A recent betrayal has left her ready to sharpen her claws on the next man she sees…until a prowling wolf with steel-gray eyes and a brooding dark edge challenges her distrust. No matter how fully he satisfies her touch-hunger, Madisyn’s not ready to open up again, even if it is oh so gratifying. Bracken Slater has earned his reputation as an indomitable predator. Once broken by grief and guilt, he is feeling alive again, thanks to the heady scent of this independent feline.

I love this series. What I like the most is that the female leads, not only in this story but all of them, is strong minded! They are not easily swayed by others. I have a pet peeve about gullible women... anyway read this book. Or listen. Jill does a great job!!

Dear Isaiah, eight months ago, you were just a soldier about to be deployed and I was just a waitress, sneaking you a free pancake and hoping you wouldn't notice that my gaze was lingering a little too long. But you did notice. We spent one life-changing week together before you left, and we said goodbye on day eight, exchanging addresses at the last minute. I saved every letter you wrote me, your words quickly becoming my religion. But you went radio silent on me months ago, and then you had the audacity to walk into my diner yesterday and act like you'd never seen me in your life.

When Fig Coxbury buys a house on West Barrett Street, it's not because she likes the neighborhood, or even because she likes the house. It's because everything she desires is next door: the husband, the child, and the life that belongs to someone else.

I read reviews on this book before buying the audio. This is a new author for me. I put off buying it because I was so unsure about it's contents. I used my audible credit because I follow Lance Greenfield. First I want to say that this book is like none I've read before. (I've read crazy...The Bad Guy by C Aaron, and Notice by K Webster) but this one primarily is a female . (without spoilers...more crazy) This book is told in three parts. First with Fig. This part made me really nervous, because....yeah she's legit crazy. Next is Darius,. This is where the story starts to unfold. You start seeing more moving parts. The last is told from the wife's point of view. It wraps up with her. And...wow. This is my favorite listen so far this year. Read it, listen to it. Superb!!!!

The biggest story of her life is the one he wants to hide. I’m homeless by choice. I have no intention of returning to my former life after what I’ve done. This - living among the filth and discarded remnants of others - is what I deserve. As atonement for my sins, I give back; I help those who cannot help themselves. But it’s always under the guise of anonymity. Newspaper headlines throughout the city are clamoring to discover my identity. Including the beautiful woman who manages to see through my “armor.” She has the capability to put my entire life at risk.

I'm fairly new to this author, having read only three others, but this one is a favorite. The story is well written and the characters are good. There is not a whole lot of angst, but good steamy scenes. The narrators did a fantastic job. I'll definitely re-listen. I highly recommend.

I'm a man without a conscience. I deal in murder and mayhem. I'm the best at what I do. Frankie Helburn is supposed to be an easy job. A means to flush her father out of hiding. Simple. Except there isn't anything simple about Frankie or the secrets she's keeping. She's stubborn as hell and the sexiest god damn thing I have ever seen, sending dark, dirty animalistic desire coursing through my veins. She's cocaine with legs. A f--king addiction that makes me question things I've never questioned before.

I had a hard time in the beginning with this one. The only reason I say that is because I SO loved the Preppy trilogy, it was hard to follow that. For me, this book starts out slow. I almost stopped listening at one point. I'm glad I kept going. After the first 10 or so chapters, it picks up. There are some twists and turns that Ive come to expect. Overall, really good. The narrators were new to me. I enjoyed them.

My first Cambria book. I really enjoyed it. Cautious, shy nerd meets Jock. Not a lot of angst. Also, other than a teammate or two and a coach, not a lot of football talk. Predictable ending, but believable characters.

Erik Anderson is paying for his mistakes and enduring every bit of pain that comes his way. After all, if it weren't for him, the girl who gave him more than he deserved would still be alive. Polly Madison has never had it easy. She wouldn't even know what that looked like. Young and naive, she learned the hard way how vindictive some men can truly be. She's fought her whole life for stability and control, both of which she refuses to give up ever again. When Polly and Erik run into each other in the most clichéd way possible, it shouldn't have meant anything.
