No spoilers, just a wholehearted recommendation.
Superb narration! It was like listening to a radio-play. (Does anyone younger than my generation remember those?) Kristin James is stupendous (wish I could give her 6 stars, if not more) One person doing all those voices; she's just amazing.
And the story! I was not prepared for the ending. It twisted around and took me totally by surprise. I found myself replaying parts to better follow what seemed to be Afton's evolution. But was it? Had it been there all along and I missed it? I'll never look at librarians in quite the same way again. Thank you, Brent Jones, for a terrific story.
