This story was super fun. I also happen to be a fan of some anime, and must honestly say, this guild reminded me of Fairy Tail.
And since thats my favorite anime, I gotta say, the comparison is a major compliment.

So. I got this book because it was the most intriguing amongst a selection that I wasnt super excited about.
Oh. My. Goodness!
I am so glad that I did. Its like like listening to a play. The entire story progresses through phone calls and voicemail. By the climax, you can FEEL the tension. The writers and actors/narrators did an amazing job. I am so glad I took the chance and that I got it.
So far it has to be my favorite audible original to date.

so, while I truly do enjoy the stories that our dear author has spun, I found the changing of the reader in book 8, (especially when the books are grouped as this one is) to cause a disconnect.
Characters that I felt I could recognize anywhere became almost strangers, and it really hits home that the reader can give a character a bit of personality with just his or her voice. In this case, I felt like I have to relearn the characters because with the switch, the characters I heard were gone.
That being said, the writing is still intriguing and I did wnjoy the stories themselves.

With Main characters that are heart warming and secondary characters who make their own way into your heart.
The end of this book was simultaneously heart-warming and wrenching.
I am not ashamed to admit I cried.

Wonderful story. HAVE to get the continuation

Siobhan loves her family, but she slightly resents having to stay home to be guardian of her younger siblings instead of at college.

The mystery begins when Niall tries to extort money from her for information about her parents death/murder. Instead, he ends up dead in her family's bistro. Now her older brother is up for murder and she is finding out there are more secrets than she suspected in her home town as she tries to solve the mystery to save her brother from jail.

Good Mystery. A little bit much going on in the background, but since its about a small town I found that realistic and enjoyable.

Cassandra is good at her job. But in her off time, she writes erotic novels. Her first few novels have done well, but shes having a slight issue with writing Kinkier scenes.
Carter is the CEO of Harris Toys. Imagine his shock when he actually gets a manuscript instead of of the contract he was expecting. Things get a wee bit weirder when he actually reads and critics it.

Everyone around the two can see the two of them falling. I found a few qualities a wee bit less believable. But the drunk call/text incident was a wonderful touch.
Overall an enjoyable short story.

Peter is at Lori's company to help negotiate a merger. Little do they know that hes no ordinary negotiator. And little does Lori know that he doesnt hold back when going after simething he wants.
Lori has her plate full. A former hippie-man-hating mom, two children (16 and 12), and an ex who is about as obnoxioys as they come.
At the insistance of her 16 yr old daughter, she joins a dating app. And now, shes up to her eyeballs...

There was instant chemistry between Peter and Lori. I liked that he supported her when stuff came up with her family. He was a likeable character.
Fun read.

Emily is The Wolf's executive assistant. But she wants out of her contract. She hates working there, with the undeniable sexual tension between herself and her boss. So when he offers her a way to get out of her contract, why did she hesitate?
Nicolas wants Emily. She is the perfect assistant, and he looks forward to spending time with her. Unfortunately she is the only person for a special project...but what he really wants is her in his bed.

This book was laugh out loud funny. I loved the interactions between the characters, especially when they were being snarky or sarcastic to each other.
I loved this book and look forward to enjoying it again, multiple times.

This follows the investigation of what happened when one reporter was trying to cover the story of August Ames suicide.

Left with more questions than answers, I did find it informative and like I got a glimpse into a world that I otherwise would not have been able to see.
