Are you tired of feeling f*cked up? If you are, Gary John Bishop has the answer. In this straightforward handbook, he gives you the tools and advice you need to demolish the slag weighing you down and become the truly unf*cked version of yourself. "Wake up to the miracle you are," he directs. "Here's what you've forgotten: You're a f*cking miracle of being." It isn't other people that are standing in your way; it isn't even your circumstances that are blocking your ability to thrive. It's yourself and the negative self-talk you keep telling yourself.

This book was truly awful. If you suffer with any kind of depression do not read this. There really is not constructive methods to this book. No proven methods for improvement in mood or behavior. If you have anxiety, it is going increase it tenfold. This is a real talk book but real talk isnt what many people that struggle with mental illness needs. There are better self help books out there that can give you a means to manage your daily thoughts and struggles and can get you to your place of feeling self worth and improving your interpersonal relationships. This guy is a life coach and counselor. He's not a doctor. He's not a real therapist offering cognitive behavioral techniques for improvement. It's a out being relentless and straight up facing your problems and some of us simply aren't programmed to be receptive to this

Would you try another book from Kristen Ashley and/or Kate Russell?

I would from Kate Russell but probably not from Kristen Ashley

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Nothing

Have you listened to any of Kate Russell’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Not sure

Any additional comments?

This book had a lot of fluff. At first I thought this book was witty and funny. Then, it just got annoying. There were so many scenes that I was like "Hurry up already." I also thought there would be more sex scenes. I'm not looking for porn or anything but, given the title, I expected more. These scenes were nothing like the other author's that I have read like Suzanne Wright. I wasn't overly impressed. The book could have been about 5 hours less had she left out many of the redundant details and conversations. Also, the main character can eat frozen Twix bars and cookie dough everyday and still manage to be "hot" while sitting at her computer desk all day. Not a realistic female in my opinion. I just felt like so many of the details became quirks that just annoyed me. I doubt I'll read anything else Kristen Ashley because, if she fluffs up the other books like this one, I can't handle it.

Yes. It was very good.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book does make an impression. I enjoyed it.

Any additional comments?

This book has a great ending. I love how the storyline has developed and is changing. It's one of those book series that moves from developing one character's story to developing another character's story. I'm not sure if that makes sense. Like this book is about a particular character, her life, her development of a romantic relationship. The next book will be about developing another one of the characters.

Simon.

Tina Fey's boldness and honesty

I liked Tina Fey's open honesty about everything. However, I'm not a super-huge movie/television person. She talked about many people in Hollywood that I had no clue about and I felt very lost at times. I like that Tina Fey is not afraid to be herself. She points out her flaws but, it las though she knows they are what make up who she is. I liked Tina Fey. The book is alright. I probably wouldn't listen again.
