more of the same events of the previous books but letting time pass faster becuase wars take a long time. I mean that in a good way. many authors get afraid of letting time pass, but it advances the plot nicely. ending so good i may have to see if book 6 is out on kindle.

amazing book. interesting and unique leveling system. a main character that would be OP in another setting but in this one there are threats far beyond him, so his rapid growth feels nessisary. the narrators bring both the main characters to life. delivers on a dragon bond as well or better then the Eragon novels. gonna have to reccomend to my mom because sge is a huge ann mcafee fan.

And the world outside is in ruins. And he's pretty sure that whoever put him here is going to come looking for him at some point....

great first book in a series. I am now 100% on team Jade.

She has awesome powers with interesting downsides. a main character with a semi litteral hunger for life.

when shes learning to walk like bambie and everyone is concerned she is going to fall, and shes just determined to keep going. reminds me of my phyiscally disabled brother in law, and his determination to walk and do as much as he can by himself. Thank you for writing such an inclusive inspiring character.

delivers on all the cool mechanics and video game story with real world consequences you might expect from a good litrpg. summoning. base building. author neatly sidesteps the potentially awkward situation of a 16 year old with the power to summon succubi. really a truly satisfying self contained story. even if the author never wrote a second book, i would still point to this book as one of the best in the genre.

There are a few things that make this series stand out. I like the guy from a pure fantasy world tossed into a video game world concept, I like that respawning is a dangerous prospect. Especially for the monsters. Characters are pretty decent. I like the diversity of troll types and evolutions.
