my daughter and I couldn't hardly put this book down. We listen to it every chance we got, the stories of her races and all of the different ways that a positive attitude can help you were fun.

this book was everything I wanted it to be and so much more. even better that it was read by both of the offers. At first I thought that Jenny contributing as an author was just a cool way to share two sides of a story. But I was delightfully surprised to find that by the end of the book I realized the story could not have been told any other way.

Excellent look into the good, bad, ugly and great life of an American hero. Couldn't put it down, sobbed like a baby at the end.

The author has a remarkable way of drawing you, making you feel like there might be a different outcome from the one you know is going to happen. You hope for that different outcome, and so your heart breaks all the more.

Neil Gaiman is a master storyteller. Both his writing and his performance are a delight to listen to. My imagination is in overdrive right now.

This book follows a long list of logical suppositions, and (for me at least) requires a singular focus to fully grasp and absorb. The truths in it are just as difficult to accept as they are good.

It is worth the effort.
