I found the journal at work. Well, I don't know if you'd call it work, but that's where I found it. It's the lost journal of Nikola Tesla, one of the greatest inventors and visionaries ever. Before he died in 1943, he kept a notebook filled with spectacular claims and outrageous plans.

It is written as a series of emails (which is a bit irritating) but the pace of the story makes is an enjoyable listen.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

For a hypnotherapy book I found this utterly useless. It kept me awake. I have used Joel’s books in the past and they have always been good.

Don’t get this get one, get one of his sleep learning series instead.

Would you ever listen to anything by Joel Thielke again?

Yes but not this series of books.

Beautifully read and completely enjoyable.
I'm rather sad to finish this series.

It is not often that I find something as well written and hard to put down as this is.

As Jacob explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that the children were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. And somehow—impossible though it seems—they may still be alive.
