During the summer months, thousands of hopefuls line the path leading to his door, seeking his wisdom. From bombastic, wealthy nobles intent on cheating their way to the top to drunkards who gradually build the physical and mental strength they need to quit their addiction, The Man on the Mountaintop is a rousing tale full of humour, wit and life lessons.

I felt like I was sitting with the teacher and two other students, and we were all learning together.
I love how he builds his sentences. For example, you might learn to say "I can", then I can do it, I can do it now, i can't do it, sorry, i can't do it now.... etc.
in one section, he was explaining the history of the English language to help understand the Italian. I found that part fascinating.
my only wish would be to have more and longer lessons.
*this is NOT an advanced course! Maybe more for an advanced novice.

so confused. I thought this was a course to LEARN Italian. It is simply a guy who reads stories in Italian and there is no translations at all. That's it. That is all it is. I would recommend you just go on Netflix, watch something with Italian language and put on subtitles in your language of choice. You will learn a lot more that way than this program.
Good thing this was free! I guess you really do get what you pay for. I'm deleting it now.

I just got this book because amazon was having a sale on it. I felt that the beginning was slow, but I kept listening to it anyway. Unbenounced to me, I was totally into the book and started finding excuses to drive so I could listen to this book. I even cleaned my house so I could listen to it at the same time!

You see, I used to be married to a narcissist who made me guess my gut feelings, my thoughts, my self, just like Darsy in the book. He would somehow manipulate situations around so I'd end up looking like the crazy one. I completely identified with Louisa on a very personal level.

The book was rivitting. I appreciate that the author explained e-ve-ry-thing at the end and left no questions unanswered.

I recommend this thriller.

I am going to have to buy this book as an actual book. I really had trouble listening to the readers voice. Her voice was so whispery that I kept daydreaming. I constantly had to back up the audio book because I kept missing what she was saying. Her voice simply did not keep my attention.
That said, I really enjoyed the message, at least the parts where I wasn't lost in my thoughts.
My advice: get the real book.

For years Brian Weiss, M.D. has focused on leading his patients into the past, yet some of them experienced spontaneous pre-cognitive moments. When developing regression into past lives, one man went forward into the future rather than backward. He entered into an idyllic future life - a passage which helped him emotionally. At that moment, Dr. Weiss recognized that past, present, and future are one. What happens in the future can affect the present, just as the past also influences it.

This, is a special book. Everyone should read this book.
What Mel teaches is so simple. It might not always be easy to do, but it is ridiculously simple. also, it applies to all aspects of life.
Waking up when my first (now only) alarm rings has been life changing. I feel so much more in control of my life now that I've implemented her rule.
Mel reads her own book. She was fantastic. Her unique way of reading felt like she was sitting with me in my car, chit-chatting about her and others' experiences. It was great!

just get this audio book. you will not regret it.
