I read this book when it came out and really enjoyed it. Getting to hear the characters come to life added another dimension to the book. Ahri had a lot that was going against her with her husband walking out and then the intrusion in her home. I loved her strength as she faced all the trials. I liked knowing that she had a brother to help her out. Rafe was a down-to-earth billionaire that has had a crush on Ahri for a while. I love how their relationship grows as Rafe and Ahri's brother work to keep Ahri safe from those that are after her. Both Rafe and Ahri have a love and loyalty to their families that made them more lovable.
The narrator of this book did an amazing job. She kept the voices and accents all separate that really made the book come to life. I would love to listen to more by this narrator.

This was a great story about Jacinta and Knox. I loved the characters and their interactions. This was almost a love-at-first-sight kind of romance. The couple got to know each other through emails before meeting face to face. The story is a quick, but satisfying romance. The narrator did an excellent job of making the story come to life. I recommend to those that love sweet, clean, short romance.

This was a different kind of book. I had a hard time following what was happening in the book. There was some curses and witches in the book that gave a different feel to the story. This book also had sex scene that I wasn't quite expecting. Claire and Teddy had a chemistry that was evident in the book. I felt like the curse shadowed the story. I didn't feel like the story flowed well. If you like supernatural steamy romance then this would be the book for you. The narrator did do a great job of keeping the story moving.

This was a great book. I loved seeing Glenn get his chance at love. This book can be read as a stand-alone, but was better knowing the history of the other characters in the book. Glenn continued to be a quiet farmer, but when he came upon a woman being yelled at in the middle of the street, his protective side came out. Victoria is a quiet, timid woman that has been beaten and belittled all her adult life. The attraction between Victoria and Glenn was instant. I love how the couple brought out the best in each other. The love they have for each other is very evident. Victoria was running from her former husband's business partner who was coming to steal her away. When the business partner shows up, the town takes up arms to keep Victoria and Glenn safe. I recommend this book to anyone that loves tender, sweet, clean romance. The narrator was great at keeping the book interesting and engaging.

This book pulled me in from the beginning. The hurts that happened in the book due to the death of a young child were sad. As the plot progressed, it had a twist in the story that I was not expecting. I had a hard time putting the book down because I wanted to find out what happened. I couldn't sleep well until I finished the book and had a sense of relief. I pulled my husband into the story as well, trying to tell him what was going on. The narrator did a great job in the book. I highly recommend this book to those that love mysteries.

I liked how Sunny and Buck were thrown together through many different situations in the book. There is an underlying chemistry between the couple throughout the story. They knew each other as young kids and each had a crush on the other. The narrator did a great job and was easy to listen to in the story.

This was a very interesting book. It kept me engaged and I had a hard time walking away from it. This book had a mystery and a killer on the loose. The killer was out for revenge for the death of his only daughter. This book addresses the hurts and some of the situations that happen surrounding abortion. The narrator did a great job of keeping the voices separate and was easy to listen to. This book touched many emotions throughout the story: sadness, grief, happiness. Most of the characters in the book had a relationship with God. Because of that relationship, the story wasn't as scary as it could have been. I recommend to those that love mystery and suspense and second chances.

This was a great book. I loved finding out what happened with Lyla. This book is a stand-alone book. Glenn had sent for a bride because his mother asked him to and she even wrote his letter that was sent to potential mail-order brides. Glenn was a hard working man and had all the right things to recommend him to a young lady, except for romance and attraction to his mail-order bride. Lyla tried her best to be loyal to Glenn, but she struggled as he ignored her. Glenn's brother, Greg, was persistent in his pursuit of Lyla. Greg tried to be honorable and offered Glenn advice to win Lyla's hand. Glenn didn't get the hints. The characters were likable in the book and the narrator did a great job of keeping the characters separate when listening. I recommend to those that enjoy romance and finding the right mate.

This was a great story. I read the book when it came out, but listening to it brought out more of the story that I didn't get the first time around. The narrator did a wonderful job of keeping the voices all separated and understandable. Her voice was calm and great to listen to. Samantha has finally found her little niche in the fashion/art world when her mother returns to destroy her peace. I liked the tension that Sam's mother creates in the story. It helped see the development of the characters. Ethan has his future all planned out and when he finally meets Sam face-to-face for the first time that plan starts to wobble. I love seeing how they each support one another and how they work through their personal issues. The couple comes together and the sparks flew and their common love for a fantasy book series just added to their charm. I recommend this book to those that love sweet, clean romance.
