First off, if you haven’t listened to the prequel, to this series, stop and find it and listen to it, first. It’s called “Share Me”. It is this first novella in this collection but, it was also offered separately.
In Share me, the band and Tex, the driver, spend Christmas Eve stranded in a snow storm, on the side of the road In their tour bus. They have the company of two groupies, Lindsey and Vanessa, who are also stranded. So, six men and two women spend Christmas Eve playing adult games that have far reaching consequences, six months later.
In touch me, Owen finally meets a lady that makes him break all his rules. Both the Hero and the Heroine have emotional scars that are very similar, and therefore, they are each other’s medicine.
In Tie Me, Kellen takes a side trip to Galveston Island to try to put Sarah to rest. Instead, he is seduced by a piano composition that speaks to his soul. This story is very touching and you can’t help but experience Kellen’s self-imposed torment. Kellen finally gets to feel the Dawn of the new path of his life. This collection contains a lot of important happenings, in these band members’ lives.

I’m enjoying the series, so far. This series is different from most, in that, each couple’s story is broken up into different novels/novellas. I’m hoping that this style doesn’t make the couple’s’ journey seem choppy. I feel like it will affect my connection to the characters and their struggles. This author’s writing style always leans to the erotica side. I’m downloading the next book, in the series, now in order to learn what new adventure is in store for the members of Soul infraction .
As far as the sexual content, it’s really explicit so if detailed, kinky sex bothers you, pick another series to listen to.

This review is definitely going to come across as a mixed review; I’m just going to list my thoughts...
The narration is pretty tough to take. There are many instances where his speech is monotone. Unfortunately, there are other speech patterns that I can explain as awkward and unnatural.
Audio quality is amateur. There are many mistakes, throughout the book, that were not corrected; it was a distraction.
The beginning of the book had several prologues? These were used to demonstrate the H/h’s shared past. This was confusing and awkward. It was like the authors didn’t want to write a long book so they used the cliff notes to condense the first third of the book. I think flashbacks could have been used more successfully.
The resolution of the conflict was poorly done. The book just ended without satisfactory explanations.
Basically, this book read like a rough draft from brand new authors. I definitely wouldn’t recommend paying full price for this one.

Besides the fact that this narrator speaks a lot of the narration in a monotone, the story was pretty good. Then, in the last third of the book, the Heroine starts doing the stupidest shit. First, after spending most of the book being cautious about her safety, even going so far as to carry a gun, she suddenly decides to go to the one place she knows she is in the most danger; without her gun. In addition, this gal who has been an ER nurse who always keeps her shit tight, suddenly freezes when her life depends on it. Then, after being captured, she starts talking loud and fights the guy who is trying to rescue her. This nearly gets him killed and instead of helping her rescuer fight her captures, she just cries and tries to bargin with these killers by offering herself up to save her rescuer. Duh, they already have you so, obviously, her attempts fall on deaf ears. I could go on but, I think you get the point. If you still want the book , wait til it’s on sale and saved up a lot patience, before you take the plunge,

I’ve really tried with these MC books by Lyla Rose but, I’m throwing in the towel. First, I just can’t wrap my head around an Aussie MC and the Aussie accents. I’m just too American, I guess, cause it just doesn’t fit. In addition, the narration is too dang slow. Before audible did this latest update, you could choose any speed. Now, you can choose reg speed, which is too slow and 1.25X which is too fast. I have kept this book in my library for months cause I really wasn’t looking forward to it. My instincts were right. This book is not for me.

I liked most of this book. It had a good plot with lots of action. The sex scenes are hot but, may make someone who is conservative, somewhat uncomfortable. There is a dominant/submissive relationship and the dominant is the Heroine; who is a vampire. There is also a M/F/MM sexual encounter that includes bondage and sodomy. There is quite a bit sexual activity in the book so Trying to FF through those parts would probably shorten the book by 1/3.
This Vampire book has a few different twists, to the legends so I don’t think it will seem like the same old same ole. Enjoy!

I am relieved to finally get to the conclusion of their story. I am afraid that I must admit that the way that this story was spread through so many books, affected the impact of the tale, for me. The story was too choppy, the angst lasted too long and the way it was all payed out, frustrated me. However, I fell in love with the characters in book one and I had to stick it out to get to the HEA. That being said, I doubt I would ever listen to their story, in it’s entirety, ever again; maybe only the beginning and the ending. Perhaps there are other listeners that really enjoy the slow build and the type of angst this story contains; it’s just not my thing.

It's dirty. It's painful, and it's ugly. Until it's not. This is Book 2 and the final book of the Beast & Beauty Devil's Blaze Duet. Book 1: Beast must be heard first.

Even though everything I’d hope would happen, didn’t happen, Christopher (beast) and Hayden got there HEA. Yes, there were a lot of aspects, of the story, that were predictable and other aspects that were pretty cornet but, isn’t that what we love about the world of romance novels? There is a comfort in the nature of romance. We all have enough crap in our daily lives that does not work out how we hope that, our literary escape should always be a comfort; in my humble opinion. I suppose, if I were critiquing a great literary novel, I could point out every flaw and point out inconsistencies, but that isn’t the point, in this case. Did this book touch me emotionally?Yes. Were the invoked emotions from both end of the spectrum? Yes; there were laughs, happy and sad tears. Did I regret the time I gave up , while listening to this book? Absolutely not! If I could, would I have changed parts of the story? Of course. I wish that Beast didn’t have to give up his relationship with Skull and his other brothers, in the club. However, that wasn’t meant to be. Hopefully, if the series continues and, particularly, Torch, Skull and their families retire from club life and move to Wyoming to spend their golden years with their childhood friend, there will be the ultimate HEA. ( Hint, Hint, Ms Marie)
Seriously, my only true complaints are as follows...
I wish that JM would stop with the cliffhangers that require purchasing of multiple books; it comes across as dishonest, to me. Kristen Ashley has written many 20+ hour books that can be purchased at one price and she is just one example of an author who has done so.
Narration, Joe Arden is the shit but, there is something about the way that Maxine Mitchell expresses her interpretation of the, “Heroine in distress” that rubs me wrong. She is very talented but her character voices often come across as pathetic; and being emotionally scarred should not come across pathetic or weak. It should come across as the opposite; being a survivor should express strength and confidence; in my humble opinion. With all this being written, the bottom line is the same, yes, I feel like this series has been worth the time I have spent listening.
