book 1 was ok, 2 was good, but this one is great!! amazing story, tied off in this last book. a great series full of identifiable characters that grow as the story travels the galaxy. if u like sci-fi get this trilogy. i just wish the author wouldn't have been so anti-religious. with some fine tuning, this would be a great trilogy in theaters with the right director and budget, and shooting all three like LOTR at once is a winning formula
