I stumbled across the first book in the series and loved it to death. much to my surprise when my credits were due this month I noticed that the author had released a second book. I can honestly say I enjoyed the second book even more than the first. it's got all the things one could want. God beasts magic betrayal you name it this book delivered

Anne Rice has done it again! a must-own for any Anne Rice fan! this is the follow-up story 2 the witching hour and the second in the trilogy. This story picks up where the witching hour left off right in the middle of the mystery of last year brought into the Flash. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the intrigue of the unknown

the witching hour is a excellent value for one audible credit. Anne Rice spans the lives of 13 generations in this signature book. it takes a little bit of time to build but the story takes on a life of it's own by the second half.

those that have loved The Vampire Chronicles will no doubt be blown away by this book. I personally have waited what feels like forever for a visit with some of these old friends. this book takes us right back to where Queen of the Damned left off. this story takes us back with such ease you'll be wishing it wasn't over by the end. it's a return of old characters you love and introductions to new characters you just might hate. I laughed, cussed, cried and rejoiced with this epic return of a storyline I have loved for decades. I give this book infinity thumbs up!

this story starts off with all the arrogance and beauty you expect from Lestat. there were several points in the book where I felt like it lags just a bit but overall this story spans 6000 years and is beautifully written. it amazes me that this book is almost three decades old. it feels like it could have been written yesterday if you want a book that will keep you guessing then this is the book for you
