Sean Rush is an adrenaline junkie. That's why he was in the Army, why he steals and races classic muscle cars, and why he can't stay away from bad boy Ryker, a Havoc Motorcycle Club lieutenant. Fortunately, Ryker can't seem to stay away from Sean - he's spent the last eight months breaking into Sean's apartment and stealing into his bed, leaving Sean physically satisfied but increasingly restless.

Ive waited quite awhile to listen to this book with high hopes. The book and the narration were just okay. I did finish it and didn’t feel at any point like I was ready to turn it off, but there was really no originality in the story. It was almost 100% Sons of Anarchy crossed with Gone in 60 seconds.

I finished this one and rated accordingly but unfortunately wont be reading or listening to more in the series.

It's not every day that a beautiful, naked woman falls out of the sky and lands face-first on grizzly shifter Berg Dunn's hotel balcony. Definitely, they don't usually hop up and demand his best gun. Berg gives the lady a grizzly-sized t-shirt and his cell phone, too, just on style points. And then she's gone, taking his XXXL heart with her. By the time he figures out she's a honey-badger shifter, it's too late. Honey badgers are survivors. Brutal, vicious, ill-tempered survivors.

The writing and performance were okay. I read shifter genre, but prefer a few species as opposed to 10. Also the storylines were just too busy. Lots of things to follow and although the writing and narration made it possible to do that, by half way through, i was wishing they would just pick a couple of storylines and stay with them as opposed to having 30 characters and at least 6 storylines.

Im not saying it isn’t worth a read, just not my taste.

The first in this series was my first book by this author. I really like most things so far...
*I love that there are different narrators for each book~
*I love that each couple's story has been very different~
*I love the writing style of the author~

What did really grate on my nerves was that I like Emory so much in the first book and in this book, I felt especially that the narration for her voice, but also some of her actions made her sound like an immature 16-year-old. Her personality portrayal in this book was almost as if she were a different person, which was irritating if you are invested in the whole series.

Still loved both stories, just disappointed in the above issue.

I expected my new assistant to be professional and punctual, but all I'm getting are dirty looks and rude comments. I should fire the little hellion, but instead all I can think about is bending her over my desk and breaking every rule I've ever made for myself. One look. One touch. One night. If we break the rules, our lives will never be the same again. Good thing rules were made to be broken. And besides, it feels so good to tempt the boss.

For me, this is my first story by this author and I really liked it. I liked the supportive cast and that neither the H or h were weak or full of drama.

Narration- there are two things that kill it for me, the first being simply an irritating voice or one not fitting the character. The second, as here, the words don't flow as if she were naturally speaking a sentence, but a small space between each word, just like if you were reading off a never before seen script. I sped up the Audible speed, which makes it more tolerable, but it did take my review down somewhat on a great story.

I'd dated his brother. He didn't remember, and I wish I could forget. I may have sworn off the Wright family a long time ago. But when I returned home, Jensen Wright crashed into my life with the confidence of a billionaire CEO and the sex appeal of a god. Even I couldn't resist our charged chemistry or the way he fit into my life like a missing puzzle piece. Too bad he'd forgotten the one thing that could destroy us. Because Jensen Wright doesn't share. Not with anyone.

My first book by this author and I did like the story. The narration voices weren’t intolerable but they were the type that sound as if a script is being read.

What I mean by that is the narrative didn’t flow nicely, the words were set apart or sentences somewhat broken as it is when someone is reading something for the first time and not from memory or character development.

It wasn’t enough to kill the story for me but was distracting and I will research the narration for the next in the series before automatically choosing to listen. They may be stories better read than heard.

From the beginning, it seemed completely unrealistic to me.

The farther into the book that I listened, I felt the narration was okay, but the premise of the story just seemed too unbelievable and almost like a forced, but not necessarily enjoyed story. Hard to explain. I know in these stories we are looking for an escape from reality and often something too good to be true, however, this story seemed to unrealistic for my tastes and I also felt that there was some unnecessary drama coming up, so I stopped after a few chapters.

I wasn’t crazy about the narration, but by Chapter five when the characters consisted of Addi, Abbi, Dorian and Florian, none related, the lack of creativity and imagination killed it for me.

Sorry. Couldn’t even finish it.

This is the first book that I have tried to read in this series or by this author. I got about 20 minutes in and no further. The story, I was liking. Moving along at a quick pace, already drawing me in, with just a short amount of listening time.

The issue..... One narrator, which can always be a difficult task to conquer when two main characters. Some do a great job and some do not. This narrator although clear and understandable, sounded nearly the same for all characters that he read for in the first little bit of time. Additionally, the book opens into introducing Wolf as having a rumbling or gravelly voice and this narrator has a medium pitched, nasally voice. One of the biggest draws for me to this series is the HOT, ALPHA Male aspect. After listening to this narrator, I know it would be only irritating to me to hear him try to portray dirty talking, alpha male scenes when things heated up. It's just simply not there.

I may try to read the series myself at some point, but since the majority or all of the series has the same narrator, I won't be trying to listen to any more. :(

I really liked this story. Predictable HEA but loved it anyway.

The woman was an over-thinker by personality, which is okay, but the further into the book it went it seemed, the more dramatic she became. The more drama there was, the more immature her voice sounded. I went from her sounding like a young, adult professional in the beginning to feeling 3/4 way through that she was a drama teen.

I liked the story well enough to finish but will also be aware in the future when looking at narrators.

I have loved this series from the beginning, scooping the audiobooks up to listen to as fast as I can. However, I was disappointed in this one. I felt as if it drug on and on, being very similar to previous ones instead of creating differences in the story as I've seen in past books. Although the characters have been the same, from the same types of backgrounds in each story, they have managed to vary enough to hold interest. This one I didn't feel did that.

It was nice to see more about Asher and younger characters in this book, however, I also didn't like the free sharing of alcohol and cigarettes, for this 15/16 year old. I understand the biker culture and tough upbringing can cause you to see differently than what society considers "the norm", such as the foul language spoken around and used by the younger people, that doesn't bother me. 16 year olds that smoke, well many do, but not condoned by family members. The drinking was just too far for me. Again, do teenagers do it? Sure, but not as if it is the usual sharing a family does. Even if it were common for the culture, I felt that a caveat maybe should have been mentioned when encouraging alcohol use.

Sorry, I truly don't mind, cussing, smoking and alcohol, I do or have done it all. I just didn't feel that it was as appropriate as it was used in this book.
