Princess Winter is admired by the Lunar people for her grace and kindness, and despite the scars that mar her face, her beauty is said to be even more breathtaking than that of her stepmother, Queen Levana. Winter despises her stepmother and knows Levana won't approve of her feelings for her childhood friend - the handsome palace guard, Jacin. But Winter isn't as weak as Levana believes her to be, and she's been undermining her stepmother's wishes for years.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

All of my friends are huge fairy tale dorks. Who wouldn't love a story that melds all the best components together? A little Hunger Games, a little Disney, a little happily ever after.

What other book might you compare Winter to and why?

It's like Disney meets Terminator meets a teensy bit of the Hunger Games.

What does Rebecca Soler bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her voices are INCREDIBLE!! Can every book be read by Rebecca Soler kthx.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

My favorite story is either Cress or Scarlet. I love how humbly brilliant Cress is, but I also relate to how PASSIONATE Scarlet is.

Any additional comments?

This book will forever be in my Audible. In fact, I may have to buy the hardcopies because I love it so much. Thank you Marissa Meyer!
