Jamie Snyder is 34 and single but not ready to mingle. After suffering through the Year of the Non-Committal Man, the Year of the Self-Absorbed Man, and the Year of the Forgot-to-Mention-I'm-Married Man, Jamie's ready to celebrate the Year of Me - and MacGyver, of course. MacGyver is an adorable tabby with a not-so-adorable habit of sneaking out at night and stealing things from the neighbors. That's right, MacGyver is a cat burglar. MacGyver knows his human is lonely. He can smell it. It's the same smell he's noticed on their neighbor David....

It’s a light, funny, quirky, romantic comedy. 1/3 of the book is from the cat’s perspective and I think that Melinda Metz nailed it! I highly recommend it.

It drives my dad nuts I'm such a Goody-Two-Shoes, but the fact that I'm a virgin makes smoke pour from his ears. See, I'm determined to save myself for love, but Daddy dear, more commonly known as Lucifer, just wants me to stop being an embarrassment. Would it kill you to sin a little? Maybe he'll get his wish, because I met an intriguing hunk last night in my bar. Could he be the one? He certainly melts my panties like marshmallows over the coals of Hell, but do I dare trust him?

This had the potential to be a great series. The story line is a great concept, but the book isn't that big and its filled with sex. I read a book for the story, and a bit of sex is fine. But I don't need to read about every climax she has. It's not needed.

It's no coincidence when Grace Elland finds a vodka bottle next to the lifeless body of her boss, motivational speaker Sprague Witherspoon. The bottle is a terrifying - and deliberate - reminder of the horrors of her past. Grace retreats to her hometown to regroup and tries to put everything she’s learned about positive thinking into practice - a process that is seriously challenged on the world’s worst blind date. Awkward doesn’t begin to describe her evening with venture-capitalist Julius Arkwright.

If you'd asked me a week ago, I would have told you that the best cupcakes were dark chocolate with chocolate cream cheese icing, that dancing in a crowd of magic wielders - the Adept - was better than sex, and that my life was peaceful and uneventful. Just the way I liked it. That's what 23 years in the magical backwater of Vancouver will get you - a completely skewed sense of reality.

I read the reviews for this book and quite a few are saying that the narrator has trouble pronouncing her words. Yet no one mentioned that the book is based in Vancouver and the narrator has a Canadian accent. I didn't have a problem with the narrator, she's a lot better then some I've listened too, I'd give her a B-.

The story itself is fun and entertaining. Love the characters and storyline, only issue for me was that I picked the bad guy from the start. But I also listen/read a lot of mystery and suspense novels and this isn't in that genre (I don't think). Overall well worth a credit and I highly recommend for a fun read.

This book has to be in my top 5. I've lost count of the amount of times I've listened to it. You just want to give Elizabeth a huge when she's 16 and slap her mum, you also have to love a dog called Bert.

Everything about this book is great. An original story line, relatable characters and bad guys galore. And to top it off an A+ performance by Julia Whelan. I wish Nora wrote more books like this one.

If Ella wants to escape her father's home, and her awful new stepfamily, she must convince her doctors that she's capable, both physically and emotionally, of living on her own.

They call me the Spider. I'm the most feared assassin in the South -- when I'm not busy at the Pork Pit cooking up the best barbecue in Ashland. As a Stone elemental, I can hear everything from the whispers of the gravel beneath my feet to the vibrations of the soaring Appalachian Mountains above me. My Ice magic also comes in handy for making the occasional knife. But I don't use my powers on the job unless I absolutely have to. Call it professional pride.
