"When you awaken, you will have to find her yourself. Or she will find you." These were the words given to Rowan Summerwaite by the Goddess as Rowan lay clinging to life. Broken - but not defeated - by the ancient Vampire Enyo. After weeks of mandatory downtime, a recharged and vengeance-fueled Rowan heads out from her father's Keep, leading a team of some of the most terrifying beings on Earth with one goal in mind - track and eliminate the Vampire who attacked her.

Eve Bianco made the characters come to life in the first two Goddess audiobooks. She captivated the listener with the various voices she used for each character. She gave life and excitement to the story. Simone Lewis - well she is so monotone with little to no inflection, no emotion, no change in voice for the various characters - can't tell whose supposed to be 'speaking'. Although I liked the book itself, the audio book is very disappointing. Don't new-to-a-series narrators ever listen to previous audiobooks in a series when they start mid-series? If they did maybe it would make for a better transition and, hopefully, maybe make it a good listen. And if there's a few words in a foreign language - it makes it nicer listen if the narrator actually pronounces the words correctly.

Eveline Armstrong is fiercely loved and protected by her powerful clan, but outsiders consider her "touched." Beautiful, fey, with a level, intent gaze, she doesn't speak. No one, not even her family, knows that she cannot hear. Content with her life of seclusion, Eveline has taught herself to read lips and allows the outside world to view her as daft. But when an arranged marriage into a rival clan makes Graeme Montgomery her husband, Eveline accepts her duty -unprepared for the delights to come.

I am not a fan of Scottish romance. However, I read the book and it was great. The audio brought it to life in a fantastic performance. The accents were fantastic. I'd give this two thumbs up. I recommend this to anyone who likes Maya Banks.

It's not every day that Elsa Bjornberg feels delicate, not when she hosts a home renovation show where she can effortlessly demolish a kitchen. But from the moment she meets Howard Barr, this bear of a man makes her feel like a woman. And the way he looks at her, as if she were a pot of honey he'd like to lick....

Book great. performance great. Love kerrelyn's books. It's too bad they keep jumping performers and can't have just one. I miss consistency with character accents/voices.
