I purchased this book not knowing it is in the Christian literature catering. If I did, I probably wouldn’t have. Don’t let the religion get in the way. I walked away from organized religions after experiencing hypocrisy from my church. I struggled when the religious references came out not to immediately return it. I’m grateful I stayed the course.
This book speaks to vulnerability and authenticity in a real way. Rachel breaks down the lies society has told women and shares stories about how she has worked to overcome them.
This book inspires you to be your own hero, be true to yourself, lean into discomfort to be the best version of yourself however you define it. Thank you for going first, Rachel.

Social scientist Brené Brown has ignited a global conversation on courage, vulnerability, shame, and worthiness. Her pioneering work uncovered a profound truth: Vulnerability - the willingness to show up and be seen with no guarantee of outcome - is the only path to more love, belonging, creativity, and joy. But living a brave life is not always easy: We are, inevitably, going to stumble and fall. It is the rise from falling that Brown takes as her subject in Rising Strong.

It can empower corporations to foster environments that encourage honest conversations about the "stories" we all make up. Rising Strong reminds us to get and stay curious. If you are looking to move toward a whole-hearted life, this is a must read.

A witch is a wise woman, a healer. Yet for so long the word witch has had negative connotations. In this book, third generation hereditary witch Lisa Lister explains the history behind witchcraft, why identifying as a healer in past centuries led women to be burned at the stake, and why the witch is reawakening in women across the world today. This book provides an overview of the different schools of witchcraft and the core principles and practices within them.

This isn't a silly Halloween story. It's an EPIC book about reclaiming the title WITCH! Lisa takes you on a journey from power to silence to remembering your intuition and reclaiming your feminine power. I love this book and find it's teachings so useful I plan to purchase a physical copy also
