despite the. stop action. The characters grow and reveal more about themselves at their relationships to each other. the world they find themselves it is our world but with so many layers never glimpsed. I find myself aching for the characters, not just the heroine and hero. Others on their team become important, their unique challenges adding depth to the story.

I enjoyed this prequel. Both the hero and heroine were engaging and real. The story plot was a bit predictable, which I found mostly relaxing but occasionally disappointing.

I don't even like football and I loved this story. maybe it's cuz I'm a small town girl these days, and maybe because I'm a hopeless romantic. I definitely needed a reminder about the Terrible Awesome Teens. Thanks.
