Being a writer is not just about typing. It's also about surviving the rollercoaster of the creative journey. Self-doubt, fear of failure, the need for validation, perfectionism, writer's block, comparisonitis, overwhelm, and much more. When you're going through these things, it can feel like you're alone. But actually, they are part of the creative process, and every author goes through them too.

As someone who didn’t consider themselves a fan of hers before reading this book , I can say it changed both my perspective of her as an actress and my view of fame. This book goes into detail how she became successful as a YouTube content creator , actor , and how it lead to her first hand seeing the worst fame has to offer. If you want to be famous , you need to read this book. It made me all too aware of the weight of fame and the cost both pre fame and post fame. As a person I respect her a lot more after reading this book. At first it’s easy to envy her academic success but it’s also great seeing how she explains the importance of finding your calling . And then seeing how dangerous the internet can be is humbling. I had no idea the scrutiny women had in the gaming industry. Really eye opening.
