I have yet to read a book by this author that I didn't love. Smart, funny characters and a complex storyline.

Things are starting to look up for October "Toby" Daye. She's training her squire, doing her job, and has finally allowed herself to grow closer to the local King of Cats. It seems like her life may finally be settling down…at least until dead changelings start appearing in the alleys of San Francisco, killed by an overdose of goblin fruit.

I got hooked on this series a couple of years ago and always look forward to the next book. The author writes intelligently. I love this series and the books she publishes under Mira Grant.

I was stunned at the lack of research done by Ms. Bermingham before narrating the book. Names were pronounced differently, and even the general tone of the characters' voices were different. Her take on the Jenks' voice was so dramatically different that it was unbearable. She practically castrated the character. I truly enjoy the series and wish they would re-record this one. I would buy it again. I won't listen to this one again as it stands.
