With the story of her conversion as a backdrop, Rosaria Butterfield invites us into her home to show us how God can use “radical, ordinary hospitality” to bring the Gospel to our lost friends and neighbors. Such hospitality sees our homes as not our own but as God’s tools for the furtherance of his kingdom as we welcome those who look, think, believe, and act differently from us into our everyday, sometimes messy lives - helping them see what true Christian faith really looks like.

This was a very tough book for me. The author had some solid foundational and scriptural points. However, they were presented as "must do" items early on, which is really off-putting. Late in the book she wraps it up and says use your own discernment. She should have started off that way. Our church went through this book in small group. BE PREPARED, this smacks a lot of LGB in your face. It could have been done much better instead of used A LOT like she did. Could have been done more gently. She comes at this from an extreme perspective...thus, the radically part. I did take away some excellent points from this but I had to force myself to finish the book.
